the-topdog #2 Posted April 19, 2011 I have never paid more than $15 CIB for a plus 4... they just aren't very collectible as everyone tends toward the VIC-20 and of course the Commodore 64.
Mirage #3 Posted April 20, 2011 (edited) I'd say $15 would be a great deal (Honestly, I paid more than that for my 2 CIB examples). Many of them have bad TED chips, so make sure it works, and also get the special power supply if it's the square-socket style. amiman99 #5 Posted April 20, 2011 Got mine for $6 at Thrift Store, looks like new in a box. I have seen some good DEMOS for it.

The last two boxed Plus 4's on eBay sold for $15.50 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 200596797828 and the second one didn't sell at $9.99 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 300544426874 I have purchased three in the past year... two for $15 and one for $10. They are really a fantastic looking computer, but I think Commodore tried to put too much thought into them without much practicality. But for what they are, they a a neat little machine. Yeah, I know, I understand. I think those are/were great prices. I actually think I'm short one power supply, I should pick one up that cheap just for the hard-to-find power supply. Lots of stuff isn't selling now, or is selling for less. I'm not a huge fan of them myself, but wanted one (two) anyway. I don't have a C16 and for some reason just don't have much interest in that machine at all.
