WTB: NTSC Amiga 1000 compatibly games any genre.

Hello. I am currently looking for games that will work with a NTSC Amiga 1000. Any Genre will do will consider all thoughts and offers. I am a big fan of Sega and Titus along was psygnosis, just a few ideas of what I like, and platformers.

Amiga 1000, most are 512k, so the library is limited.

 

I have a "Deep Space" by Psygnosis for 512k Amiga, it's free for you if you wanted. Disk only.

Just tested it on A500, seems to be working.

Just wondering what type of game is it. I have also found a side ram expansion for the computer two. Thanks by the way, and yes I would like to have it. Also for any one else that reads this thread, Titus, Sega and Psygnosis were some of my favorite developers/Programmers. The only reason I say were is because Titus is not open anymore.

Limited in amount of ram you have, most games for 512k should work. So early games will work.

 

You know...I was looking at the number of games released for Amiga, and it looks like there are plenty of games for OCS Amigas.

Sometimes you can play PAL games, but bottom portion will be cut off and music will play to fast.

I have almost no problems at all running ANY Amiga software on my 1000.

And if you have 1meg memory or any extra Disk Drive your pretty much open to everything, other than the AGA type stuff which really is like 1% of the software out there.

Dont over think the Amiga its really pretty simple.

I have tons and tons of games on disk, most with manuals, but not really wanting to give them away. Therein lies the problem LOL

No, ECS games do not work unless you have an ECS Denise (8373 chip) and 1mb Agnus. Don't despair though, there's even less ECS specific games than there are AGA! Stick with OCS and you'll be fine.
