An open letter to mrbigreddog

On the 4th of April this year I sent you the agreed upon $10 for repro decals for the n64 game "Conker's Bad Fur Day". I provided you my address and you replied, "I'll get it printed and shipped out in a few days, probably be shipped out by Friday."

 

The Friday you mentioned would have been the 8th of this month (April). It is now April 30, and since then I have not received the decals, have not heard back from you in PM's, and I am a bit frustrated by this because you had impressive feedback on this site. Every other transaction I have had with other AA members (albeit only a handful) has been fantastic. I have had games I purchased arrive in a mere two days.

 

Your profile shows you have been visiting the site on an almost daily basis and you continue to ignore me.

 

 

I know things get lost in the mail sometimes, (tracking helps a little bit) but if you have indeed mailed the decals I wish you would at least tell me so. I have had a cart cleaned up and the innards of a conkers bad fur day in a plastic box ready for their new home for a month now.

 

Please refund my $10.

mrbigreddog does the labels for my Deluxe EverDrives, I haven't heard from him in weeks and he usually gets back to me within 24 hours after I e-mail him. My guess is he is either on some kind of vacation or something has happened to prevent him from fulfilling orders. So I would give him more time since we don't know exactly what has happened and he has been a trusted member of not only this forum, but many other classic gaming forums as well.

I remember ordering Everdrive labels from him well over six months ago. I still have the PM converstation from it and see that he didn't message to let me know he shipped them, and it took two weeks from the point I paid and sent my address to actually get them. I had no complaints at the time as I wasn't in a rush, not to mention they looked (and still look) great. Either something happened to him personally or it could be that there may be some communication issues. Logging into AA daily doesn't help the prior argument, but you never know, just throwing out my experience with him. If the seller sees this, hopefully he gets back to you.

i would just like to add that Conker's is my favorite N64 title. I can play the multiplayer games Heist/Beach/Raptor all day long and never get tired of them

 

and i love when the little caveman craps his pants and starts crying.

Yeah! after all his impressive feedback, I was really excited to get this label replaced! My conker's BFD had a blockbuster sticker on it and someone tried to peel it off, and ...failed. I hope whatever happens, I will get my decals, or at least get my money returned.

i wouldn't worry. he's probably either on vacation or had some kind of crisis. i've dealt with him twice and he was speedy both times. i've had a Sega Everdrive made for me as well as a custom label for one of my AdventureVision cartridges. both came out fantastic.

Back in full swing, I've replied to everyone. Here's the deal, I'm trying to minimize on small orders just because now I'm slammed with big orders. I'll try and help as much as I can for whatever anyone needs. So basically, make it worth my while! I still have everdrive labels and inserts pre-printed, and end labels for 32x, n64, and jaguar pre-printed. So if you need any of those, let me know! But for some of the more custom orders, I apologize, it's just not worth my time anymore, unless it's a big order. But hopefully everyone can understand that doing all this artwork and editing for ONE Genesis label, even when I charge for artwork time. Really waste a lot of material. So let me know what you need, and I'll see what I can do. Also orders will definitely take up to 3 weeks to ship out.
