I know you can find much more, like part of the Beethoven synphony in Smurf Rescue in Gargamel's Castle. But if you are like me, you can't identify all of them. Let's use this thread to share our music knowledge (if you accept of course).

I know Gyruss has parts of Bach's "Toccata & Fugue in D Minor" as does the intro screen to Donkey Kong, Jr..

Mr. Do! uses the "Can Can" march as its BGM in the arcade version, but the ColecoVision version does not use it. On both the arcade and ADAM Super Game versions of Donkey Kong, Jr. the "Can Can" song is heard during the intermission screen of the Hideout (sparks) stage.

VideoTunes was really an amazing piece of software, especially considering it was developed circa 1984 when not a lot of tech info was available about the ADAM. It's unfortunate that it took nearly 5 more years before a SmartBASIC player for VideoTunes songs was written by Chris Braymen, who also developed a tremendous MIDI Interface for the ADAM called the MIDI-Mite.

I know Pepper II has a lot of tunes popularized by Disney. I don't have time to identify them however.

The main title music (that you hear on the player get ready screen), though, is the Alfred Hitchcock Presents theme.

Within the game, one of the tunes you're referring to is "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah."

Ȼi̅x̅ has three sonatas by Giuseppe Domenico Scarlatti. Some of my other games, such as Bankruptcy Builder have music by Bach.

My workflow is transcribe the music into abc from old sheets. From the abc source I can then create pdf sheets (using abcm2ps and ps2pdf) and data for the ColecoVision (using abc2cvm).

Philipp

P.S.: I attached the pdf for the music in Ȼi̅x̅.

My girlfriend and I really enjoy your games and the music in them. Thank you for all the work you have done. I'm trying to get a complete collection of your games. Would you mind posting a complete list of your games or sending it to me in a message? I want to see what I'm missing.
