Austin #3 Posted May 7, 2011 (edited) My answers: What was the first game console you played an online game on? Sega Dreamcast, unless you count the Saturn's NetLink (direct-dial) feature. Favorite handheld console? Hm.. Tough one. Going to have to go with the Game Boy Advance, as it encompasses it's own library as well as the Game Boy and Game Boy Color. That's one huge library. Favorite 8-bit console? NES. Another one with a huge library, and tons of personal favorites. Favorite 32/64-bit game console? Sega Saturn. Favorite 80s game console? NES. What is your favorite retro computer? I unfortunately never had experience with "retro" computers.. My first experience with PC's was with a DOS-based 286 CPU. So if that counts, I guess that would be it.. I would like to get my hands on a C64 though. What vaporware were you most looking forward to? The 3DO M2. What is your favorite console from the last generation? Hm.. Guess I will have to go with the PS2 by default, but I got a lot of playtime out of my XBOX as well. **EDIT: Seeing Sonic R's response below, I'm going to change it to the Dreamcast. For some reason I keep lumping that with the generation prior to the PS2 era.. Which 16 bit system is the best one? Erm.. The "best" one? Don't particularly like these types of questions, as I enjoy all of them.. If I was forced to name one, it would be between the SNES and Genesis/Sega CD combo though. I'll leave it at that. Who is the best video game mascot? Haha, another retarded one.. Captain Commando! Modern questions: Will Microsoft announce the "Next Xbox" at E3 2011? Derp.. I don't have inside sources to the videogame industry. I don't know. Are you surprised that Sony closed its online gaming unit? Not sure, I never really paid close attention to their online gaming unit (I'm assuming this is in relation to their MMOs). Will you buy Duke Nukem Forever? Yes. Maybe. I don't know. (Leaning towards YES, PC version). Should Sony be sued for failing to secure PSN? Absolutely. Especially if the rumors are true that they didn't bother to upkeep their servers with the latest security patches, heh. This has caused a major hassle for a lot of people (coincidentally my debit card was compromised at the same time and I haven't gotten my money back yet, so I know what it's like). Will Nintendo'a "Project Cafe" be as successful as the Wii? Probably not. 60+ million units is a tough act to follow. But we'll see.
