José Pereira #1 Posted May 9, 2011 I have been trying some of Epyx Olympic Games lately... Start with WINTER GAMES but the idea is to get all A8 un-released ones (plenty of... almost all... less SUMMER GAMES ) This is also ways that could be used in all other Sports Games. By now the two simpliest competitions. Running competitions can have 1:1 and 2:1 mixes: (by now there's only the Top guy but all can be like him with all colours possible...) Also Figure skating: (C64 Screen would be centered in 240scanlines high on A8 and the Status at the Bottom in Hi-Resolution Letters. But the 38chars Horizontal scrolling it's almost all turned at 40chars A8 (just the Top people not...) The movement of PFs in 2:1 if it's a scrolling screen or probably not... We can move screen at 1:1 and mask sprites (2:1) with the PF1 (it would look like the running skate guy...), possible, right? Anyone ever think in port Epyx and/or other sports game sinto A8? José Pereira. (P.s.- I think I will try more of the Epyx Games when I don't need to send you coders anything... If anyone is interested... we could at least get this guys moving, just Demos, but in the future... untill there I have lots of 'competitions'/Epyx Games to convert!...)
