opeygon #1 Posted May 9, 2011 (edited) I have 2 copies of Pole Position in my collection. One of them has this misspelled end label: Has anyone else ever noticed this before? I think it's pretty funny. I wonder how many thousands of these got run off before they noticed? Somebody definitely was asleep on the line that day! You can find threads where it has been talked about with this Google search.

Christophero Sly #5 Posted May 9, 2011 Not an R4. It's no more difficult to acquire than the standard label.
zylon #6 Posted May 9, 2011 I know of 3 variants. Hardest one to find (though still not rare) is the correctly spelled one with the same picture as the misspelled one.
nofrills100 #7 Posted May 9, 2011 (edited) I always thought of it as an abbreviation rather than a typo. Edited May 9, 2011 by nofrills100

zylon #10 Posted May 10, 2011 It definitely shouldn't be R4 since more of them show up than the regular ones. Maybe it should get down graded to at least R3. Another possibility is more of them got saved because of the misprint instead of being given/thrown away/used for donors, etc.
