Great find there Ghost. I'm not sure what the other games are worth, but the DW games are worth a lot more than the $4 you paid them! Plus, as I'm sure you know, they are fun to play.

I found a big load of Atari 800 stuff yesterday...

Atari Touch Tablet, with pen, box, and packing foam (no instructions or cartridge, but I should have an extra cart for it)

Two Atari 800 computers, one power brick, and a Frogger cart in one of them (and some keys missing from each, but I have spare keys)

Atari 800XL with power brick

Indus GT floppy drive with power brick

Two 6-foot I/O cables

Parallel printer interface

CX-22 trackball

Two CX40 joysticks and one Epyx ergonomic joystick without the knob

(I passed up the one quickshot and two pointmaster joysticks)

That and some other stuff cost me $25.

And now a good weekend. again, not really found at thrift stores. some tag sale.

Gotten free:

Part of a server, \

some motherbaords, \

a power supply, > being thrown away by some people

2 pentium 3's, /

2 ram sticks, /

a radioshack chronomath clock/calculator/stopwatch/calendar thing, \

old glass bottle (it says "H.J. Heinz Co. 13" on the bottom, ketchup?), > from a failed tag sale

a webcam, _______________________________________________/

electronic ignition switch from a grill that was being thrown out (still works).

Purchased:

An Adlake "Adams" railroad lantern sans globe, ~ grade C (surface rust, can be restored), marked for New York, New Haven and Hartford RR : $5 (that tag sale was about over I guess they're moving away or something.)

Good weekend. :D

Small flea market trip this weekend, picked up a couple goodies.

Genesis games, complete:

Tinhead-$5

Road Rash-$4

Beaty and the Beast: Belle's Quest-$3

SNES games, loose:

Phalanx-$2.50

Hammerlock Wrestling-$2.50

Plus, the most interesting find of the day, a cloth Atari dust cover for a console. It's brown with a white Atari logo, and it's in very good shape. It was in a bin with just a bunch of random stuff, nothing else game related, and it only cost a quarter!

(everything but wizardry V was found at a goodwill last week. wizardry V was found at the same goodwill today.)

all for IBM PC:

ultima trilogy and ultima the second trilogy by origin. also, the official book of ultima.

wizardry-proving grounds, knight of diamonds, legacy of llylgamyn, heart of the maelstrom and bane of the cosmic forge.

all of the games are complete and were kept in great shape. bane of the cosmic forge has 2 copies of the playmaster's guide; one has page numbers on the outside corners of the pages, one has them in the inside corners. there are also 2 sets of the 3.5" and 5.25" disks; one of each set has "new" written on the label (3.5") and the disk sleeve (5.25").

the 4 smaller wizardry games were $1.99, the ultima games and bane of the cosmic forge were $2.99. the book was $.49.

Not really a game-related find, but I made a huge score nonetheless, today.

I hit up the local thrift today, and came upon a huge load of CED (SelectaVision) movies that somebody had taken a disliking to. They wanted $1.00 each, but I asked the manager what kind of deal she could cut me, if I bought them ALL at once.

Apparently desperate to get rid of them, she gave them to me for HALF PRICE -- I ended up paying about $60 for all 120+ discs. They were mostly older movies (1920s-1950s), as well as a few "educational" titles, and a few of the rarer cartoon titles such as Tom & Jerry Cartoon Festival were in the lot, as well as a few CED's I already had, which I plan on reselling.

One thing's for sure: those suckas are HEAVY. But thank God this wasn't a Goodwill store I found these in -- they wouldn't have budged from sticker price, in which case I would have had to pass on them.

Finds in the last month:

Mini SNES system with 2 controllers $20

super mario all-stars, super mario kart, and 3 others all for $10

a few NES games for $1 each (can't remember which ones)

gb color with battery pack, case, ac adaptor $8

Goodwill - got a rare(?) sega game called Gaiares for $3 missing instructions, cartridge is mint.

Also got a PSX old-style with 2 controllers memory card, power and a/v cables with a driver disc inside with no scratches for $15.

What I have learned from all of this is: go hunting during the week. I never find anything saturday, but I've been able to find nice items during the middle of the week.
