Last weekend (March 22, '08):

Financially, had to walk away from a few things..........(sorry, I'm going to list everything here, even non-video game stuff)...........

1. A VHS tape of "Matilda" in a case for an Olsen-twins movie (my daughter loves Matilda).

2. A home-made VHS dub of "Platoon" and "Predator".

3. A low-end Telescope ($5.00, though and looks good!).

4. A hard cover copy of M. Scott Peck's "The Road Less Traveled".

5. An I'm-away-from-home-turn-on-my-lamps timer ($1).

6. 3 NES controllers and 4 (probably early 90's) PC joysticks.

7. The in-box manual for MS Flight Simulator 2000 (no CD, though - - those get shoplifted...grrrrrr).

Only dropped about $12 all-totaled.

I'm pretty certain that's not a Nintendo product.

Not exactly a "Thrift find" per se, but today, I found the Lynx version of Batman Returns on the sidewalk in front of the school today. It looked very battered up, with scratched plastic and contacts, and parts of the label ripped, but it was still an awesome find. I just wish I had a Lynx to test it on... :(
