Mirage
I'm not able to test it out yet since my only 5200 has a cut power cord, but I'd have to believe it still works, given its condition. On the bad side I only got the overlay, for Countermeasure, so I'll have to track down the rest of them. Yeah, there's no guarantee that it works, but I'd say your chances of that are pretty good. Besides, I was just assuming it would work since that fits in better with my whole "my 5200 Trak-Ball is busted pity party" thing I have going on right now
thegamezmaster
Picked up complete in box minus the instructions a Sear Telegames Sports Pong IV with console and four controllers. Plus the battery compartment is clean as a whistle. No battery leakage. Cost: $1,yeah! Edited May 10, 2009 by thegamezmaster
Almost Rice
I picked up a 800xl with a ground wire attached for $10. It looks to be stock. I left the power brick because Goodwill wanted $5 for it and I did not want to pay for the ingot version. Anybody that needs it, it is at the Computer Works store in Austin. AtariLeaf
Not a thrift find, but my CX78 gamepad came from Best Electronics today. Its a great gamepad and makes those 2 button 7800 games so much easier to play.
shadow460
I'm not sure if this is a score or a shame, but I picked up two CD-i games at the MMV store today for $2 each. They were Pinball and Power Hitter. I went to two other thrifts nearby and found an Interactive CD Sampler 3 with it's sleeve for $4. Imagine my surprise when, in addition to the Interactive CD Sampler, a loose copy of Wild Arms fell out of the sleeve. It also had a Twisted Metal disc shoved in there, too. I don't think wild Arms will play until it gets polished. Also picked up a copy of Joan of Arc on DVD during the morning trash run at work. Apartment maintenance does have its perks. Today's finds: PS1: Interactive CD Sampler 3 Twisted Metal Wild Arms all for $4 Joan of Arc DVD - free Pinball for CD-i - $2 Power Hitter for CD-i - $2 Edited May 14, 2009 by shadow460
midnight magicman
ok, I'm not sure if this is a good find or not. Y'all let me know.... I was @ a garage sale & there was nothing that interested me. I have a tendency to look around the garage @ misc stuff & boxes, etc. I saw a box with marker writing "Atari" on it. I asked the guy about it & he grabbed the box & opened it up. Inside there was a 4 switch with a bunch of loose games I already had and about 25 boxed games (not sealed but boxed nonetheless). He said he'd let go of the whole works for $100. I noticed 3 of the boxed games I didn't have & asked him what he'd want for them. He said $5/game. I grabbed Stargate, Millipede & Skateboardin'. I only had $18 cash @ this point btw. Good deal? Peace
Prodos8
Found some Megaman 3" figures at GW. They had a big box of new ones for $0.25 each. I ended up the twenty-four total -- four sets of the six different figures they had. Edited May 14, 2009 by Prodos8

Peace Boxed those prices are more than fair, you did fine. Especially if they're super nice, but even average-nice that's not bad especially for Skateboardin'. Silverfleet
I just got back from yard sale hunting, and I think I did pretty good! At one sale, I picked up quite the Atari haul. The guy had an entire table packed with Atari stuff. Here's what I got: -2 Sears Telegames 6-switch consoles -a really nice Atari suitcase-style case -4 joysticks -2 sets of paddles -a Star Raiders controller Loose Games: -Steeplechase x2 -Speedway II -2 different copies of Sears Telegames Warlords -Pong Sports -Target Fun x2 -Star Raiders -Pac Man -Space Invaders -Superman -Video Pinball -Defender -Instruction manuals for all the above games Boxed Games -Space Invaders -Keystone Kapers -Video Olympics -Football -Bowling -Combat -All of the above were complete with all instructions/posters/etc. And here's the kicker... NEW/SEALED Boxed Games -Casino -Air/Sea Battle -River Raid -Dodge 'Em He also tossed in a copy of Red Faction for the PS2 with the official strategy guide in on the lot. I paid $45 for the whole lot, which I though was a pretty good deal. You don't really see this stuff out in the wild anymore, especially with all the boxes, and especially not sealed games! Right around the corner from this guy's sale, there was another one. I picked up a N64 with 2 controllers, memory cards, and a bunch of games, including Goldeneye, Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire, Doom 64, and more for $15! Here's some pics of the Atari lot: I'll get pics of the N64 lot later. Edited May 16, 2009 by Silverfleet

MFoolsRun
I scored a box of Colecovision stuff at a tag sale yesterday: Colecovision (two controllers, power, video) Expansion Module #1 2 Amiga Power Sticks for 2600 The Coleco appears to be a bit fried but I haven't given up on it. The good news is that my previous thought-fried Coleco apparently works with the hookups for this one, so maybe my old one just needed a new power brick. Anyone know the rarity on the Amiga Power Sticks? They're pretty awesome.

SRGilbert
It's official, I have a disease, and that disease makes it nearly impossible to pass up anything game related. I ended up with no less than NINE consoles this weekend, and apparently I can't help myself. Yesterday I was out of town and managed to stop at a yard sale and found 2 boxes of old game systems. SNES Model 1 SNES Model 2 Playstation (model 1) A PS1 LCD screen A wierd mix of various controllers, 2 N64, several PS1, several 2600 sticks, and a 2600 power supply. No games, but the lady took my name and number and is going to look for them. Her son goes to school in Lansing and will have him drop them off. Total for the lot $20 Today at a flea market NES Power Set, with console, powerpad, zapper, ect. All complete in box, box is like new, really nice and only $22! Also from same dude, for the SNES: Pitfall, Super Bomberman 2, Double Dragon V and Packy & Marlon for $2 each. Another guy had a pile of Atari consoles, 2 light-Sixers, 1 4-switcher and one Junior. Also a video game center, a number of joysticks of various brands, and power supplies for each. No games here either but I got it all for $50. I didn't have a light-sixer before, and the others I can use to unload my extra games on Craigslist. Speaking of Craigslist, I also picked up a Model 2 SegaCD complete in box. Used of course, but included a Genesis 2 for $25 Somebody help me......please...... Edited May 18, 2009 by SRGilbert
