Just now getting around to getting the rest of my weekend finds up.

Friday at lunch, hit up a neighborhood sale:

Gamepark GP32 (original non-backlit) Complete in box with 128mb Smart Media card - $5

Seems to work ok, haven't had time to mess around with it, and there weren't any games on the card.

Colecovision system, Atari expansion module, 11 CV games, 23 2600 commons. - $35

Once I cleaned the power switch, works great. Lots of manuals I needed too. Highlight of the set: CV Spyhunter with manual! First CV system I've seen in the wild in years.

Snes complete system, 2 SNES games, and a handful of NES games (including SMB 3) and controllers - $5 for the lot

Also picked up a Linksys 5 port switch for $3

Sunday went to a flea market and flea market, nothing worthwhile game related, but I did pick up some vintage Star Trek items!

1977 Mego Star Trek Phaser pistol (actually part of a game) $10

Classic Trek Communicator replica - origin unknown, but at least a couple of decades old! Very strange, seems to be hand made with some off the shelf parts as well as custom parts. I love this kind of stuff, someone really put a lot of craftsmanship into this. $8 :)

One garage sale had a pink Nintendo DS with 2 games (Super Mario 64 DS and Kingdom Hearts) for $60. I asked if she would sell it for $40. She said no, so I passed on that.

She also had a N64 with 2 memory cards and about 12 games for $40, but she would sell the games for $3 each. So I bout one of the memory cards for $1 and these games:

Banjo-Kazooie

Banjo-Tooie

Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko

Quest 64

Glover

Donkey Kong 64

See what happens when you are greedy... they deserved to be cherry picked  They could have probably gotten $50 for everything, but noo, they wanna keep the systems and a hand full of crappy games, that they will trade in for $12.50 at Gamestop the next time their little precious wants a 3DS for $200.

I just received a lot of games I purchased...I was holding my breath, waiting for the package to arrive. I saw this mess of consoles, wires and games on ebay. I guess no one else recognized what was in there, as I got the whole lot for under $100. Maybe you can notice what I did in the photos:

It was hidden in there pretty well, but when I saw that Rescue Terra....icon_lust.gif

Bonus was that all of the items included in the lot work perfectly. I've had an NES clone for a while, but always wanted to get an original console for my game room.

Very nice! You could throw the rest on Craigslist and probably get most of your money back.

Looks like a nice label too. For a title that generally doesn't have a nice label... I've been wanting one of those in the box for a few years now. One day.

Day trip on Saturday to Santa Barbara w/ the gf provided some nice pick-ups...

CIMG2304.jpg

Pokemon Red, Yellow and Silver were $5 each at the Santa Barbara High swap meet. All of the batteries still save.

Captain Novolin was $2 at the same swap.

PS1 Bust A Move 4 was $.95 at a thrift.

Felling lethargic due to high blood sugar?

Why not Poke yourself man? Perhaps with a little Novolin!?

Then you can Bust a Move!

:D
