Happy_Dude #455 Posted August 1, 2003 This is proably one of the stupider questions out there, but what is an NES toaster? a top loading version? I got one of them for $5 at my local thrift. It's funny, because they had a regular one for a few dollars more It's just a regular front loader. So called because you put the game "inside" the console like a peice of toast (just don't try to use it to toast bread )

spongebue #457 Posted August 2, 2003 It's just a regular front loader. So called because you put the game "inside" the console like a peice of toast (just don't try to use it to toast bread ) I thought it might be a top loader because the game and system looks kinda like a toaster that's done cooking. This isn't really from a thrift strore, but I got a cybiko xtreme from a video game stor for $

Collectors Cards and Games, I know he has a website (try a search). I know if you call him about a game he will bring it to the flea market, so you can buy it. Geeknout #473 Posted August 10, 2003 I walked into a small thrift last friday, headed towards the back wall and there it was! A Sega Saturn console! I have never played one before, but Ive read on these threads that it is a really cool system. So I spy it, then SNATCH it quickly while a couple of other younger guys troll about. I know that Im buying it before I look at the price sticky. Okay, I see no hook-ups. Okay, no controllers laying around, no games anywhere. I look at the price and its $5. Im thinking "coooool" I have a Gensis A/V cable that I think will work, and I just picked up a cheap power cord. I hope I can find a controller and some games this year! 2 weeks ago- Atari- Super Challange football and Real Sports Baseball $2 each.
Happy_Dude #474 Posted August 10, 2003 I have a Gensis A/V cable that I think will work, and I just picked up a cheap power cord. I hope I can find a controller and some games this year! Sorry to disapoint you but the genny a/v cable doesn't fit the Saturn. Still a great find for $5. Do you know what model it is. (if not what shape are the power and access buttons, circle or oval ?) Geeknout #475 Posted August 10, 2003 It says its a model #MK-800000A The power button is round, and the "open" button is kinda rectangular Reset button is round I see now that the A/V is a 10 pin
