Here's the pic: The game at the bottom right corner of the vader caught my eye, can you see what it is? Well when I saw what it was I offered $10 for that game and he accepted See below post if you can't figure it out but no peeking until you do Edited February 15, 2010 by AtariLeaf

STICH666 #8105 Posted February 15, 2010 Got a mint condition Atari XE with the Light Gun, official controller, keyboard and a copy of Barnyard Blaster for a trade of a Saturn and 3 controllers. The Saturn only cost me $25 so it was a good deal overall. I also hit up the local thrift shop and found yet another gaming item buried in the board games. A Digital Diamond handheld baseball game. Thats a great feeling isn't it? Finding something valuable you know you can flip for something you want. I've done that a few times. It's great! Yeah it feels great! This might just be what gets me into classic computers. AtariLeaf #8108 Posted February 15, 2010 (edited) Hey Atarileaf. How did you get your XE? It looks to be in really good shape. I believe it was a local ebay seller. I think I paid $51 for it with no shipping since he was in the same city. Came with the keyboard, light gun, beige joystick, instructions and a few carts IIRC. STICH666 #8109 Posted February 15, 2010 Lucky. You got carts. My area's dry for Atari 8-bit stuff. I just happened to see the cart on the shelf so I asked if she had the console.
shadow460 #8110 Posted February 16, 2010 Got Who Wants to Be a Millionaire second edition new in box for $3 from Best Thrift at Reno and Mac in west OKC. They've got a couple of 2600 Slik Stiks and two sets of paddles behind the counter in a bag. They've also got a wireless joystick base. I dunno what they want for the controllers. gulag picture radio #8111 Posted February 16, 2010 Got two xboxes for $20 today. president's Day sale and everything was half off, and these xboxes had been marked down a bunch of times. Neither had cords, so I took a chance. Sadly they both seem to have problems, but I got them as parts machines anyway. I still paid less than what a replacement Xbox DVD drive would have cost me on Ebay.
AtariLeaf #8112 Posted February 16, 2010 Got it in the mail today. Two R9's in 2 days. Not bad eh? I won't say what I paid but it was cheaper than the latest loose one on ebay, and this one came with manual too

Apok #8116 Posted February 16, 2010 NES with two controllers, a light gun and all the hookups for $20; might not sound great but thats a steal in this area. People here think everything is worth a FORTUNE, I recently saw a 2600 and some commons listed in a local classifieds site for $150... Anyway, the NES has the dreaded "blinking light of death." I tried re bending and cleaning the 72 pin connector and the best I got was some black and white images of the start of Mario 3, but not everything came in... Anyone have a replacement 72 pin connector for sale?
the.golden.ax #8117 Posted February 16, 2010 I got an NES with 19 games, and a bunch of other stuff on a $30 CL deal on the way to pick up my puppy. Too excited about the puppy to even look through the box yet Could be some goodies, the CL seller didn't list the titles. AX
SRGilbert #8118 Posted February 17, 2010 Picked up a new in box Ms Pac-man wireless plug and play for $10 off of Craigslist last week. Can't decide if I want to take it out of the box or not, it looks pretty cool.
STICH666 #8119 Posted February 17, 2010 Got Parappa The Rapper 2 for $7. From what I understand, this game is about as rare as a singular copy of Jest Set Radio Future or Sega GT 2002.
Almost Rice #8120 Posted February 17, 2010 I picked up a Fairchild Channel F for $9. It was $19 last week, but button 4 was lost over that time.
gulag picture radio #8121 Posted February 17, 2010 Got Parappa The Rapper 2 for $7. From what I understand, this game is about as rare as a singular copy of Jest Set Radio Future or Sega GT 2002. The version for PS2 is rare? It was a launch title, I thought there would be a kerjillion of 'em. I've got it (I could hardly wait to find a PS2 just so I could play it), and it's a lot of fun. I love the original too. They're really hard to play on my arcade cabinet sinced the games are idealy suited to having your fingers curled around the controller rather than slapping buttons on a flat surface. DrLove0378 #8125 Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) I did all right this week... in a trash pile, I found the retail packaging for a PSP 3001 (with the instruction manual and paperwork), in excellent condition. Awesome! The PSP Brite I got for only $50 a while back is now "complete." And today at the thrifts, I found a Commodore VIC-20, complete in retail box (with matching serial number) w/all packaging, hookups and printed materials, for $10. It also had a low serial number (RP 0001725). I'm aware of the multicart that is available for it, but is it a worthy purchase?
