STICH666
I have a few different Atari sets, including an Atari 400 with five games...I have some N64, NES, Sega...what are you looking for? Well it depends on what you are looking to trade. Any consoles? Any Jaguars?
Shephda
Stopped at a garage sale after a delivery again and I picked up this lot for $15. Mario RPG itself was a steal! WTG
Almost Rice
I spotted a NES top loader for $15 at my local thrift. I had the system, dogbone, SNES controller, and a 2 controller to 4 controller splitter. I wondered if this was a good deal. It had only a RF output and no power brick. I did not pull the trigger mainly because I still hate that I missed the CIB top-loader for $15 a few years ago.

I think those still sell for around $50. I'd love to have a backup toploader. The only thing I found today was one of those remade Frogger tabletops for $2.99. STICH666
$15 is dirt cheap for a top loader. Go back and see if it's still there. Edited September 1, 2010 by STICH666
GregadetH
I found my top loader for $17 at Goodwill. I held on to it like a fiend until I got it out to the truck, too. Picked up two Wavebird receivers at the local thrift today. Now all's I need are two actual Wavebirds to use them with. Hey, at least you found the receivers first... much more likely to find the Wavebirds without them. Though I did find two different PS2 wireless controller receivers at a thrift recently with no controllers anywhere to be seen (and no names on them for me to know what brand they went with, so I didn't get them). Yeah, I'm kicking myself for passing up a WB without the receiver only to find a loose receiver like a week later. I am equally sure the next Wavebirds you run across will be platinum. Life's like that. Does anyone know, were there any other colors made besides those two? the.golden.ax
In 1999 I drove 4 hours both directions to purchase two top loaders from a Funcoland that happened to have a pair for $50 each, and resold them for $125 on eBay (they were slightly higher then). Though I did find two different PS2 wireless controller receivers at a thrift recently with no controllers anywhere to be seen (and no names on them for me to know what brand they went with, so I didn't get them). That's weird. I'm constantly finding no name PS2 wireless controllers but no receivers. I am quite sure the recievers you found were the standard grey. I am equally sure the next Wavebirds you run across will be platinum. Life's like that. Does anyone know, were there any other colors made besides those two? Morgan You are correct, sir...they are the standard grey. That's cool, though. I'll slap some Krylon gloss white on them and the controllers so they can match the Wii. Grey's one of the ugliest colors ever on a game console. I'm lookin' at you, Playstation. I've been back to that thrift twice today but still no Wavebirds. My kind of luck someone else will see them and grab 'em up hoping to find the receivers later. Edited September 1, 2010 by GregadetH

the.golden.ax
I think all wavebird adapters are grey, even if they came with plat. at least mine are. AX

Ever since getting beat by "SumGuy" by about 2 minutes for a complete genesis, 32X, Sega CD set up that was priced at $10 late last fall, I've learned not to pass up on good deals like that. GregadetH
I did pass up a Pioneer Laserdisc/DVD player for $11 @ Goodwill once. I couldn't justify the purchase because I have no interest in flipping a movie multiple times. Records? Sure. Flip it to side 2 and rock out. But a movie? Not so much. If it was a LD/DVD combo unit that was a much worse pass up than a $15 top loader. The combo units are $100 - several hundred (depending on if they are an Elite) Always wanted a cherry wood version. But I'm just not interested in LD's anymore. They were cool when I was a kid though.

BydoEmpire
All this Laser Disk talk has made me break out Moving Pictures by RUSH on vinyl. Now that's the way music was meant to be heard. :-) Agreed! My neighbor moved a little while back and had a garage sale. I picked up a big pile of classic rock records ($0.50 each). Zeppelin, Santana, AC/DC, Steve Miller, ZZ Top, Mahogany Rush... all great stuff. No video games outside of a PC version of Leather Godesses of Phobos.
