Goochman #1 Posted May 14, 2011 So, I just sold my Inty II but I have a question. There was a 'button' added to the side of the unit that in some ways acted like a 'halt'. Possibly this was to avoid holding down the power button 8 seconds so you could swap carts - however this unit could play Donkey Kong, Carnival, and Lady Bug. These were mentioned as games from Coleco that didnt work with the Inty II. Just curious if anyone has seen a modified Inty II that can play these Coleco games and has a button on the side that enables this? For these 3 games when turned on the screen turns green - hit this button and the title screen comes up. I can post a picture of it later if need be, but its just a small button on the cart port side.

That said, some of the later runs of some of those games I believe had been corrected to run on the INTV 2 (was it the CBS releases???)

Here is a pic - nothing much to go on.
SlowCoder #4 Posted May 15, 2011 Curious question, why would someone want to halt the console to change the cart? Wouldn't that still amount to pulling the cart while the system is on, possibly frying the cart or the console?
Goochman #5 Posted May 16, 2011 Again - I have no idea what that button did - but it did allow me to swap carts easily the short amount of time I played it.
StephenJ #6 Posted May 16, 2011 Hello everyone, I'm the guy who bought the INTV II from Goochman (Good deal!). Anyway, I found this article on the web regarding the button: http://www94.pair.com/jsoper/intv2_cmod.html I think I'm going to play-it-safe and only use the button for when I play the old Coleco games, and not to change cartridges. All the best, StephenJ
+thegoldenband #7 Posted May 16, 2011 Aha, I remember looking at that lot and wondering how/why the Coleco games were working on the Inty II. Now I know!
