C64 power supply question

I just picked up a free C64 from Craigslist but need to find a power supply for it. I looked at Ebay but noticed that the majority of auctions are bundled with the C64. Does anyone know of a website that sells them? Is there a particular make/model that is better to get?

Aside from ebay there are retro traders out there who might sell them,i know of at least one in uk (Retrogames) so surely there must be retro traders in the US.

The original C64 PSU isn't recommended, as it can fail destructively. Best bet is to find a C128 power supply and adapt it, or convert an ATX PSU.

How do you convert an ATX PSU? Any web sites that show how to do this?

The originals can cause massive chip failures when they fail internally. They can be tested to determine if they already failed, but not when they'll fail.

All I have is an original commodore Black power supply (the one that looks like darth vader). I only have a C128 I currently use, so I have no means of testing it out. Let me know if you are interested.
