I only played astroblast with a paddle and never even thought to use a joystick because you can react way faster to the gameplay and with a joystick it goes on until its no longer fair to even try beasue its too slow(if that makes sense) BUT I have tried this in the prosystem and its very good and thanks for making games for the 7800!!
