For Christmas my girlfreind bought be 24 Atari 2600 games off ebay. Much to my dismay they are all sears telegames, not origional atari ones. Should I be happy or not?

Very happy. Anything for the Atari is good. Especially if they are unique titles. There are some rare picture labels too.

Dude, yes! I've personally found the Sears Tele-Games variations much harder to find than the regular ones, and you got 24 in one shot. If that was me, I'd be STOKED. Merry Christmas!

OK first off, you got a girlfriend who is interested enough in you to buy you ATARI games. Most of the girls I meet aren't very interested in videogames at all, much less 20 year old ones. I think you should be counting your blessings, and enjoying your new editions to your collection. You mentioned they were telegames versions, did you need any of them? As some else already stated there are some unique Sears titles, and lots of people here collect both Sears and Atari so yeah I'd say you should be happy!

If you aren't perhaps you could trade them to ME. There are still a couple obscenely common Sears carts I'm missing... Football, for one...

 

 

One of the first goals I set for myself was getting all the Sears carts. Been collecting almost 8 years and STILL ain't got 'em all.
