Algus #1 Posted May 24, 2011 Thought I'd show my setup off. My hardware collection isn't as vast as some but I'm happy with what I have hooked up. Excuse the poor quality of the image, poor lighting plus only having a webcam leaves a bit to be desired. Pictured: Top: Wii, System Selector (Component), RF Selector, NES, System Selector (Composite), Pac-Man Stick w/5 games (won from the lotto!) Row 1: Xbox 360 Premium (with wood grain front!), Genesis Model#1 (non HDG version) w/32X and Sega CD Row 2: Atari 2600 (Light Sixer) Row 3 (very hard to see): Turbografx-16, Sega Saturn On the shelf is my PS2 game collection (PS3 is hooked up in the living room) Only have one port free right now on my box rigged with component cables, but I've been leaving it open so I could plug in my PSP. Cables are pretty tacky but the entertainment center was free (though many years old now) so I make do. Shame I don't have an extra shelf for it or I would have some room for a couple of my unplugged systems. The big area is where the TV is supposed to go though, heh. I've got the following systems unhooked elsewhere: Super Nintendo, PS1 (original model), PS2 (phat), Xbox, Dreamcast (problematic disc drive) Suppose I should run the SNES's a/v through the front port on my composite box but I save that for my Pac-Man Stick (and, I guess, if I ever get any other plug-and-play systems) Edit: Added a couple more pictures that I think are a little better for clarity
the-topdog #2 Posted May 24, 2011 Very nice setup. There isn't anything wrong with the number of systems you have if you truly enjoy playing them!
nathanallan #3 Posted May 24, 2011 Very neat and tidy, definitely a nice and playable and fun looking setup!
atarigal #4 Posted May 30, 2011 Looks great! We used to have that Pac-Man stick but it broke pretty soon after we got it. How has yours held up?
Algus #5 Posted May 30, 2011 Pretty good. Though the only game I don't have anywhere else is Bosconian so it doesn't get a lot of heavy use. I actually haven't even had to replace the battery in it. It does feel a bit flimsy though so I'm not surprised to hear that yours broke. I actually changed a couple things. I moved my PS2 rack to another part of the room where I managed to free up some space and ended up hooking up my N64. My game cabinet for my N64 games hides the wires a little better. Though now I'm using the port that was for my Pac-Man stick. Oh well, an easy swap
