Omega Race with 7800 cotrollers

Would the 7800 two-button controller work for both the fire and thrust functions? Maybe I would not need the booster grip to play Omega Race.

I'll try that and let you know. I do know that a Colecovision controller works on this. I use a Super-Action stick myself.

No, its not mapped properly. A friend and subscriber to my youtube channel, Thomas3120, did a great NES controller mod designed just for 2600 Omega Race. I love it and will never touch a booster grip again.

I've made a 7800 control work using Sears Video Arcade II controller cords. It still works on all 2600 games and 7800 games needing only one button.

If you have a genesis controller handy, there's an omega race hack that supports it in the 2 button hack thread.

I can make the controller do that by moving one wire.
