intellivision model 1149 computer and orig box=Value?

I have one of the original Intellivision 1149 computer stations with original box and manual. The original intellivision connects in the top of it

Also have 2 complete basic cartridge kits for it.

It was working 30 years ago when I last used it, haven't tested it yet now. Also somewhere packed away is the JackLaLane program cassette for it.

Just wondering if anyone here has an idea what it worth.

I know there were less than 4000 made and many were recalled or bought back.

The last e-bay auction on which I participated, it went for about $4,500.00 USD. I believe it was off an estate sale and it looked like it was in good condition, and it supposedly worked, but the tape drive was busted. It came with no tapes.

I think was early last year, do you remember? The world economy is better since then and you have the box is a decent low serial number (under a thousand) and have software. If works everything fine, I still think that will get close to 10k

 

Also, since is more than a year since the last one spotted, some collectors get more aggresive on the bidding.

I would guess with the games and console and the box all together on an ebay auction in the 4 to 6 thousand range, and like topdog said maybe? 10,000. If enough people seen it and have the money available.

I had one offered to me at $4000 a few months ago, boxed but with no tapes. I passed on it. To me its just not something I'd want to spend $4-5k on. I'd suggest you go the eBay route as I think this will draw a number of bids. My guess is that it would go for $5000, I seriously doubt the $10K figure being thrown about, I'm not convinced that there are enough serious INTV collectors that still need one of these to bid it up that high. That said, I'll be watching closely. Worst case scenario you have a $2k offer. By the way, I believe that armchair arcade one went to Alex Pace who has a crazy collection and has paid top dollar for items before
