RYsr #1 Posted May 26, 2011 I have one of the original Intellivision 1149 computer stations with original box and manual. The original intellivision connects in the top of it Also have 2 complete basic cartridge kits for it. It was working 30 years ago when I last used it, haven't tested it yet now. Also somewhere packed away is the JackLaLane program cassette for it. Just wondering if anyone here has an idea what it worth. I know there were less than 4000 made and many were recalled or bought back. Rich
edintv #2 Posted May 26, 2011 You have a very, very expensive item in hand. You should get offers here soon, but this item is very rare and hardly seen on Ebay. With the additional stuff you have the value increases. I don´t remember for how much was sold the last one seen on Ebay a year a go. Sorry for the collectors here, but if you want top dollar for it and more quiet operation for selling it, listed on Ebay with international shipping option, maybe you will get around 10k for it. I had a very bad experience selling a "Holy Grail" item here, so I don´t recommend it to anyone. Good look, you hit the Jackpot! And I suggest you test it. RYsr #5 Posted May 26, 2011 Wow Ed! I had an offer of $1k already, is there any way to find out what the previous ones sold for. I tried eBay previous auctions but it only went back a few months. I´m sure the one who made the offer is a friend and will get mad at me, But trust me that it worths 10 times that. To get the mos money possible I recommend you: - List on Ebay with the most expensives options and gimmicks availables and all the pictures you can. Don´t matter if you had to pay 20$ for the listing, you will get much more. - Tested and put a picture of the screen. - You can list the softeware apart, especially if you have doubles. (or reserve the double for another time) - Ignore any offer you get, Just tell them to wait until the end of the auction. Trust me, the last minutes are the best. and you avoid that a reseller get a huge profit for your item, is better for the hobby if you sell directly to the collector. - Make sure you list fan auction for 10 days and ship every where in the world, is a big ticket item, you could shipiy by the most expensive Fedex option and they will pay that. You get 2-3 times the bids. There´s hard core collectors in Europe. The biggest collection is in Italy. - Mention the auction in every forum of vintage gaming you find. Sorry if a ruin a bargain sale for anyone, I´m just helping a guy to get the most of his Treasure.

Edit: Added more accurate details, after looking it up. I think was early last year, do you remember? The world economy is better since then and you have the box is a decent low serial number (under a thousand) and have software. If works everything fine, I still think that will get close to 10k Also, since is more than a year since the last one spotted, some collectors get more aggresive on the bidding. Also, you can try in intellivision.us Do you have an account on ebay with good reputation? that is very important. And also is very important that you test the unit and tapes. If you don´t own and Intellivision buy one, is a very nice system and is a very very low cost purchase compared with the money you will recieve. Rev #12 Posted May 27, 2011 (edited) I would guess with the games and console and the box all together on an ebay auction in the 4 to 6 thousand range, and like topdog said maybe? 10,000. If enough people seen it and have the money available. If you really want to sell and get the most. advertise it on these forums: atariage.com rfgeneration.com digitpress.com And link a 10 day ebay auction in the threads. Or maybe someone will offer you a nice price in here. I personally can not afford to bid on this right now. By the way, how did you find out little intellivision forum? +cmart604 #17 Posted May 27, 2011 I had one offered to me at $4000 a few months ago, boxed but with no tapes. I passed on it. To me its just not something I'd want to spend $4-5k on. I'd suggest you go the eBay route as I think this will draw a number of bids. My guess is that it would go for $5000, I seriously doubt the $10K figure being thrown about, I'm not convinced that there are enough serious INTV collectors that still need one of these to bid it up that high. That said, I'll be watching closely. Worst case scenario you have a $2k offer. By the way, I believe that armchair arcade one went to Alex Pace who has a crazy collection and has paid top dollar for items before

Will be testing them soon. Stay tuned Rich PS found a couple Matell Tron controllers for the Atari as well, and my old 2600 and games as well, now I'm itching...
