dobidy #1 Posted May 28, 2011 Greetings, Found some interesting Colecovision items in my travels this week. I usually collect Atari stuff, so I hoped the owner had some loose carts as they had a Colecovision/Atari adapter. Two working Colecovisions, all items with it. Cords still wrapped, a little attic dirt, but o/w in good shape. I'll have to find an older tv to fire them up. I'd like to hook one up to my plasma tv. Not sure of the rarity if some of these. Games CIB: Colecovision Popeye, Cabbage Patch Kid's Advs in the Park, Miner 2049er, Mr Do's Castle, Jumpman Junior, DK JR, Roc'n Rope, BC Grog's Revenge, BC Quest for Tires, Smurf's Rescue Gargamel, Sewer Sam, Pitfall II, Defender. Atari CIB Berzerk, Ms. Pacman, Astroblast Loose carts Pepper II, DK, Zaxxon I haven't tried any of the carts, but looking forward to playing Quest for Tires! Armonigann #4 Posted May 28, 2011 Excellent find! How much did you score these treasures for? Side note: Quest for tires = Great game Grogs Revenge = Not so much
NIAD #5 Posted May 28, 2011 Tremendous score! Those 3 Canadian game releases (2 BC titles and Jumpman Jr.) plus the two-piece Parker Brothers boxes are very saught after and then you got two boxed CVs... WOW! Was this a Craiglist score?
dobidy #6 Posted May 28, 2011 (edited) I am going to test and play the games, but I will keep you posted. (Sale wise that is.) I was really only looking for Atari stuff, so this was a surprise. I checked a local classified ad that posted some yard sale items, including the Coleco stuff. Edited May 28, 2011 by dobidy
+cmart604 #7 Posted May 28, 2011 Great score! Those Canadian games will definitely draw some interest along with Mr Do's Castle.
phattyboombatty #9 Posted May 28, 2011 Great score indeed. I'd be curious as for how much you snatched these up. I recently secured a huge Atari lot from a CL seller with over 200 games, two 4-switch units, a few CIBs, controllers and extras. I'm more of a CV fan these days, so let me know if you'd like to trade!
dobidy #10 Posted June 24, 2011 Games tested and played...all working fine. Pitfall II cart had to be disassembled and cleaned. It was covered with tape, whiteout and wood held the pcb in place. The systems work great, joypads need some cleaning. I am waiting on the striking postal workers up here in Canada to get back to work. I will then accept offers on the games! Thanks!
