Did Anyone Else Have A 2600 Christmas?

Something happened this Christmas to me that hasn't occured for exactly 20 years....

 

Someone bought me Atari gear as pressies!!!

 

My housemate Billi bought me a sealed copy of Gyruss and boxed paddles & keyboard controllers because "I like Atari stuff" - how nice is that?

 

This is the literal truth, these are the first Atari things that anyone has bought as Christmas presents for me since I was a young whippersnapper back in 1982!!!

 

And if that doesn't beat all, she even cooked a curry for me

I was surprised to find about 20 carts and some paddles in a box under my tree... now I know why I haven't been able to find any 2600 carts, my parents have been hording them

I did not get any 2600 items, but thats because all the stores around me that had any Atari items seem to have dried all up, so no atari stuff for me, but my collection is so large that they would have to have a game like Quadrun for it to be any good to me.

I got the Jakks Pacific 10-in-1, Mr. Roboto, Synthcart & an Atari Soccer jersey. I had a very Atari Christmas

i Got 12 2600 games one 7800 game a lynx two lynx games and a sega master system with 10 games from my wife. My dad got me a a boxed road runner for 2600 and my wifes folks got me ncaa final four 2003 for PS2. My wifes uncle got me a that high score video game book. Got lots of other stuff too but non video games it was a nice chistmas

My wife carries around a list of my collection and she found me 5 games I needed at an antique mall and gave them to me for Christmas. The first "Atari Christmas" I've had since '83. I had her take me back to where she found them, and after I rummaged around for a bit found about 40 games behind some boxes. I bought Spitfire Attack and a boxed Dark Chambers for cheap. I also left a note for the dealer making an offer for the whole batch. *crosses fingers*

I didn't get the Jakks thing, but I did receive the Activision Anthology, which is pretty cool (though I find Kaboom a bit unplayable, sadly).
