Robot2600 #1 Posted May 30, 2011 <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/rCzAxCz2kj0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I recently discovered this game but I'm having a lot of trouble beating the guys with metal arms who jump around the screen in level 1... Anyone have some advice or tips about this game? Also, if anyone knows where I could find a scan of the manual, I bet that would really help me out. I'll keep this first post short and sweet, but I'd really like to talk to some other gamers about this (and possibly other) TG-16 underrated classics. Thanks in advance! Robot2600 #2 Posted May 31, 2011 No one has played Ninja Warriors? I'm getting better, but Stage 3 is rough. This game is much harder than Altered Beast, and I'm resisting the urge to play on the easy difficulty.
ApolloBoy #3 Posted May 31, 2011 I love the original arcade game, and the PC Engine port isn't all that bad despite being cut down. Anyway, what I usually do for the guys with the scythe arms is I anticipate where they land, crouch down and then slash them the instant they touch the ground. They only take a few hits so they're not too tough.
Robot2600 #4 Posted June 2, 2011 Thanks for the tip, it actually helped a lot against these guys. Ultimately, this game just takes a little practice. I wrote up a review, for anyone interested in this game.
