Buyatari
On the other hand, Leonard has denied it. Most likely they walked off with someone during the pilfering of all the buildings that weren't locked down It's hard to believe they would have been kept in a building that wasn't locked down. Michael The vagueness of it being misplaced is just a little too hard to believe. Ohh that old thing? Ohh who knows where it went. It is possible something could disapear (even NASA has problems like this)but I would have expected a reply that implied they knew about when it did disapear or when they last knew its whereabouts. Ranthulfr
Wasn't the Swordquest contest cancelled, at least in part, to save money? And in that case wouldn't the remaining prizes have been, er... liquidated?

Octavio
I vaguely remember contests of this sort (was born in 1983 but actually remembers when the Soviet Union existed).
Buyatari
So what happens if they do show up on an episode of PBS Antiques Roadshow. Does any company or individual have legal claim to these items?
VDO1980
Someone totally needs to raid the lost treasure at Jack Tramiel's house and relcaim it for the masses! If nothing else would make a great movie
Godzilla
The store I ran was shut down just as jaguar "fight for life" came in, I remember because I bought a copy as we were sending everything back because we were closing down. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fight_for_Life_(video_game) so that's right around 96. My conversations with gary were within a few months before the closure up to 1~1.5 years before the closing. So the stuff was there at that point. What happened after the company went under, though, obviously I have no info. but at least from a 'tracking them' standpoint, we know where they were up to that point... VDO1980
"This belongs in a museum!" Ha ha , exactly , we just need to find some eccentric street person and get him to do a whole "Fisher King" deal on that stuff!

Tangentg
The video's removed... Was it the waterworld AVGN episode? I can't believe it's no longer up... Anyway AVGN is the first internet series I found about Atari when I looked up Atari games on Youtube and he helped promote games I wouldn't have otherwise known about.
