Good Universal Power Supply?

I'm looking for a good universal power supply capable of delivering 6/9/12V, and at least 1A power, with multiple reversible tips. I want to be able to use it to test multiple systems as I get them, if I don't have a PS for that console immediately available.

 

I went to Radio Shack and they have one that's 2A+, but it costs $40.

 

So my question is, what power supplies have you purchased that are good quality, and deliver their advertised power?

Never been able to find one cheaply and have always had to make my own using parts from several.

I've had good luck with some I used to get at walmart. They were 1a with selectable voltage and had a fold out plug. I don't have any left currently.
