ac.tomo #1 Posted June 8, 2011 (edited) Hiya fellow atarians, i would be very appreciative if someone could send me some dos boulderdash files, namely 'act1-act-29' i believe, and 'btwo1-btwo?' on an atari format disk, since i still use the old, trusty and classic 800xl. you see, only half of the act files were ever transfered to bandit files, so if anyone remembers how to do this that would be much appreciated as well, thankyou very much. I think (god, this is going back some time!), the process was to copy a bandit boulderdash file to a blank disk of its own, then load up the freezer, then boot the boulderdash constructor (game part), and then when the game has loaded all your files, you press 1 or a combination of the silver keys (on the right) to dump the memory contents to another blank disk. you then have to transfer the dumped boulderdash screens to a particular sector of the bandit boulderdash file, alter the front screen details, and wala, but i can't remember what is the starting dumping sector, i think it's 105, but i'm not sure. any help much appreciated, especially on obtaining them 'act' and 'btwo' boulderdash files. Thankyou very much, ac.tomo. Edited June 8, 2011 by ac.tomo

The act & btwo files were dos 2.5 files created with boulderdash construction kit, altogether, each act 'game' file had 20 caves & intermissions and i think i made about 29 of them (approx 580 caves & intermissions), the btwo game files were my fathers and there was a fair few of them as well. anyway, much appreciation to anyone else who can help me out, i'd be very thankful. Here is an AtariMax Cartridge site that has some Boulderdash programs for maxflash cartridge. http://www.atarimax....c.php?f=9&t=872 Maxflash Studio can be downloaded there also. Also maybe you can PM to poster for that cartridge file as dos files. EDIT: for picture of Maxflash Studio Cartridge of this workbook.
