Robot2600 #1 Posted June 10, 2011 ttp://8bitcity.blogspot.com/2011/06/super-castlevania-iv-nintendo-power.html Nintendo power has such cool spreads for their games, I miss gaming magazines like this! Before the internet, all we had was Nintendo Power and the Sega Visions. Visions was closer to what gaming mags are now (designed to sell games), but still had some cool copies of the levels, artworks, etc. Anyway, Nintendo Power never gave you help on the last levels too much, so no one really had a problem using them. I've got tons of these magazines, pretty much all of the 8 and 16 bit ones
Bloodreign #2 Posted June 10, 2011 I've got issues 30-100 something, right about the time the N64 era kicked in (along with a lot of old EGM and Gamepro mags that are in storage), they did every now and again cover a game with full maps. Games like Metroid II for the Gameboy, quite an easy game to get lost in. It was a good magazine to read back in the day, but recently looking at issues, and it seems to be nothing like the magazine I remember.
