Rev. Rob #1 Posted June 12, 2011 Sonic is one of the most widely recognized gaming icons in history, sandwiched between Mario and Pacman in terms of fame and notoriety. Over the past decade, however, he’s become something of a joke. No matter how hard they tried, reboot after reboot, Sega couldn’t make a good Sonic game. Even 2010’s Sonic the Hedgehog 4, which saw the long awaited return of the series to its 2D roots, was an incoherent mess. Going into E3 2011 I had no faith that Sonic Generations could be good; not given Sega’s recent track record of ruining the reputation of their iconic mascot. However, as a lifelong Sonic fan, I was pleasantly surprised by what they’ve accomplished. Read full article I just have to say... WOW! This game is good! Austin #2 Posted June 12, 2011 Hm, interesting. What's the word on its distribution method? Physical disc, or download-only? The console versions certainly sound promising according to your description.
toptenmaterial #3 Posted June 12, 2011 Nice article Rev! I have the 360 for GTA only but I think I'll have to make an exception!

Tr3vor #7 Posted September 21, 2011 I played the demo while I could and I could not see where I was going, the camera was lagging so bad and I was going so fast. I didn't like it that much
onlysublime #8 Posted September 25, 2011 Really? I was never a Sonic fan but the demo really impressed me. Love the 2D gameplay with a 3D look. On a side note, this is a true Sonic fan:

Metal Ghost #10 Posted October 6, 2011 I don't know....I'm excited about it. My oldest girl has enjoyed seeing me play the old school Sonics too, so I think she'll get a bit kick out of watching me play this.
GKC #11 Posted October 6, 2011 Looks like Sonic to me. I see myself playing the old school style more so than the modern style. It's supposed to be coming out in November. A lot of games coming out that month an while most are probably looking forward to the new Uncharted, Elder Scrolls and Modern Warfare I'm looking forward to this game and the new Rayman. Also Mario 3d Land.
