Surprised sgea is not suing becuase of the sd slot. I made those my standard xmas gift last year. I wonder if any survived--both of the ones I kept died after a few hours of use. They tend to commit suicide when writing games to memory, while they're low on batteries. Brightness/contrast is pretty far off on them too.
Algus #6 Posted June 21, 2011 Apparently there is a handheld too that looks kind of cool. No support for games that use batteries is kind of a deal-breaker for me though.
HatefulGravey #7 Posted June 21, 2011 Yeah, I thought this would be cool too, but after a few reviews online I'm just not going to spend the money. Its a great idea, but execution is everything.
ydcl #8 Posted June 22, 2011 I'm very skeptical about those plug n play things... I prefer the whole vintage gaming experience, like getting mad when my NES games takes 5 tries or more to work.

I was just thinking that if it were optimized for a few really good games (Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Truxton, etc) it would be well worth it. Especially if it had a SegaMD input for multiplayer. I don't think I'd buy this to play Phantasy Star, though.
