CARTRIDGE STEALER #1 Posted June 25, 2011 well, i was doing my garage sailing today and I hit about 40 in a 2 hour range. nothing too exciting. i get a call from my best friend whom is sailing in another town next door. he tells me he found a coleco with some games. he reads some off and i tell him to get it for me, but take no more than $20 (it was the highest i would go) he then tells me the guy says "everything for $7", its missing the power plug, game switch and tv chord. well, this is what i got for 7 bucks:
Itchy Koala #3 Posted June 25, 2011 Great find if all is working! Finding a power brick can get a tad pricey, but after all is said and done you still got a really good deal.

Yurkie #5 Posted June 25, 2011 The Mr. Do's Castle or the Super Cross Force are easily worth double or triple your total price each. You made out like a bandit!
CARTRIDGE STEALER #6 Posted June 25, 2011 The Mr. Do's Castle or the Super Cross Force are easily worth double or triple your total price each. Armonigann #7 Posted June 25, 2011 Never played Super Cross Force(unless its the one where you and an opponent are on top and bottom of screen and have to fire and hit each other.. ) but Mr Dos Castle is fantastic, and is quite rare.

CARTRIDGE STEALER #10 Posted June 25, 2011 Mr. Do's Castle in a $7 lot??? Guess you just lived up to your name as "Cartridge Stealer." I would like to explain the name.....had it since I was 12 years old!!! it was a surreal comic I used to write!
CARTRIDGE STEALER #11 Posted June 25, 2011 I also noticed that there are 2 mr dos. the one i have has "for colecovision" and the one i got today, as you see in the pic, says "colecovision and adam". never knew they came in 2 types. i thought it was one or the other. Hell, even if the console was crap, it was still worth it. The chances the carts are junk is very small. Great grab!
Yurkie #13 Posted June 25, 2011 i never even owned super cross fire. is it a good game? I think it is a very good title to play with 2 players. My Girlfriend and I play it in 2 player mode and have a great time. Mr. Do's Castle, the other somewhat rare and valuable title is one of the best ColecoVision games IMO. CARTRIDGE STEALER #15 Posted June 25, 2011 Incredible that is the only word I have Ive been having bad luck with garage sales lately. everyone is always putting the cool stuff on ebay and there are so many people out there, going to garage sales and you have to beat the other collectors. I was glad my friend found these for me. He gave me his coleco 20 years ago and remembered i still collect them. Ive been having a good week. earlier this week, i went to a customers house (i work for cablevision) and he had given me some old gi joe and transformers toys. I was in heaven! and the next day, another customer gave me some of his old toys. could my luck get any better?
