Clint Thompson #2 Posted December 31, 2002 Make that 2 of us! But as far as I know, there were only a small handful ever really produced... and Kodak has most of them right? Hmm... I' would imagin the going price on one of those babies to be VERY expensive however.... Clint Thompson

Curt Vendel #4 Posted December 31, 2002 I have a few parts and pieces of Transputer spares for the ATW800, but not a full system to spare. Curt
TXG/MNX #5 Posted December 31, 2002 I have a few parts and pieces of Transputer spares for the ATW800, but not a full system to spare. Curt Hmm that's not interesting then... I really would love to have a complete working one and play around with the HELIOS OS...
Curt Vendel #6 Posted December 31, 2002 Thats going to be tough, they are difficult to find, there is a Transputer newsgroup you could subscribe to and there are several websites devoted to the Transputers (varying versions) I have some original Helios OS disks and I am working with my co-webmaster Karl Morris and we are preparing to publish all of the Transputer and Helios OS manuals for the Atari ATW800 onto the Transputer section of the Atari Museum. Clint Thompson #7 Posted December 31, 2002 Curt... Very cool... will be looking forward to that I never did hear back from Karl Morris... suppose he's a busy busy bee... hmmm... Helios OS was such an awesome name heh... and what neat system that would be to use! Maybe someone who owns a fully-fucntional ATW800 would be willing to take part in a video interview of some kind... giving some background/history on how he/she obtained it and etc. etc. and using it in real-time... just for fun to demo..
