Epx998 #1 Posted July 10, 2011 I picked up a Atari VCS - CX2600 Sunnyvale Edition off Craigslist from a guy cleaning out his aunt's garage. It appears to be in near mint condition, all the cables still have that gloss. Came with the original ox, though it is fairly worn and 2 joysticks, 2 sets of paddles and a set of keypads. Sadly there was no power supply. Any suggestions where I can get an Atari PSU? I am iffy on buying one off e-bay. Cheers, Gavin

Thanks for the info. What do you mean take care of the polarity? I thought I would just need an atari 2600 oem psu, any particular seller on e-bay that is reputable? SlowCoder #4 Posted July 10, 2011 The Atari uses a mono headphone style Jack. The center is positive. 9volt, 500mah. If you want an OEM power supply, you'll likely pay a little more. How much did you get this gem for?

Bennybingo has original power supplies for $6, and zylon has reproduction/universal power supplies for $7. EDIT: You need user feedback to purchase from Bennybingo. How much did you get this gem for? I paid $25, they wanted $45, but since it had no PSU I offered $25. Any shops in the SF Bayarea I can go to pick a PSU up? zylon #8 Posted July 10, 2011 Could still be a L6er. About 1/3 to 1/2 were still made in Sunnyvale. Still, there are deals to be had that pop up.
