TailChao
Just in time for the holidays, here's HandyMusic 1.40cx+. There's no driver or compiler changes, but I've added something which I'm really embarassed about not having before- new music tracks may now be sent to HandyAudition with a RS232 -> ComLynx adapter. miker
Necrobump! Hi guys! Is there any possibility to exhange existing HandyMusic driver in Chipper with newer one? Will it help in exporting some effects like vibratos and/or slides? Or maybe it's completely pointless action... Thanks in advance. +karri
Is there some combined "chipper + handymusic" driver out there somewhere? The benefit of HandyMusic is that it takes much less space, has priorities and instruments are fairly easy to re-use. I really cannot see how Chipper could mimic stuff written by hand for SASS. miker
Well, I though that "export as TC driver" mimics handymusic driver, at least there are (almost) similar files used to build asm/rom file such as: HandyMusic.asm HM_Instr.asm HM_Mus.asm HM_Sampl.asm HM_ZP.asm or is it only by coincidence? +karri
It is easy to export chipper stuff to HM. Perhaps @sage could shed some light...
sage
what a strange coincidence, indeed. well it does not write out this complicated SASS files, but directly the assembler code (with macros for better readability). As it is creating directly a lnx file (and there is a reason the lnx file looks very similar to the handymusic example :-)), you can easily see how to include the files into your own project. sage
Just a remark: the instrument export is really bad. I agev up on making it better. Thus you better optimize them afterwards or take from sass.
miker
OK. Actually I try to fight those limitations by increasing tempo and/or player's timer. Even this way as here:
