Necrobump! :)

Hi guys! Is there any possibility to exhange existing HandyMusic driver in Chipper with newer one? Will it help in exporting some effects like vibratos and/or slides?

Or maybe it's completely pointless action...

Thanks in advance.

Is there some combined "chipper + handymusic" driver out there somewhere?

The benefit of HandyMusic is that it takes much less space, has priorities and instruments are fairly easy to re-use. I really cannot see how Chipper could mimic stuff written by hand for SASS.

Well, I though that "export as TC driver" mimics handymusic driver, at least there are (almost) similar files used to build asm/rom file such as:

HandyMusic.asm
HM_Instr.asm
HM_Mus.asm
HM_Sampl.asm
HM_ZP.asm

or is it only by coincidence?

what a strange coincidence, indeed.

well it does not write out this complicated SASS files, but directly the assembler code (with macros for better readability).

As it is creating directly a lnx file (and there is a reason the lnx file looks very similar to the handymusic example :-)), you can easily see how to include the files into your own project.
