CatPix
I knew a few people in Russia who would reship it to me and I know Avito. I never had any chances to get any contact on it but I suppose people simply ignore emails in English

CatPix
The cyberSmart keyboard you show is interesting to me I don't know if people sell it on Avito with the name in English of in cyrillic? murgatroid_79
CyberSmart aka Cybord005 sometimes just CyberShell, this is one of the first variations of CyberShell. And I also want one On Avito, at the moment there is one and I already correspond with the seller ... Regarding how to write the name when searching the Avito flea market: I wrote both Cyrillic and Latin, and their combinations ... I also inserted spaces ... that is. you can try to write CyberShell or Cyber Shell or КиберШелл..., cybord005 or cybord 005 or Киборд005...

CatPix
Oooh, it's from Simba. Aren't those also the company that sell/sold the Subor-made Famiclone consoles keyboards too? That name rings a bell. About the one console on Avito, are you looking for this one : https://www.avito.ru/bryansk/igry_pristavki_i_programmy/kibord_005_16bit_pristavka_1799205883?slocation=621540 or this one ? https://www.avito.ru/tambov/igry_pristavki_i_programmy/igrovaya_pristavka_sega_cyber_shell_1134015875 I want the first one, more complete and the "shell" aspect doesn't attract me at all. It you're on the first one then now that I have the corresponding keywords I'll be able to look for one myself
murgatroid_79
I corresponded with both sellers ... I always ask you to take a screenshot to make sure that the console is working. For some reason, the seller cannot check the console using the first link ... and there is no instruction in the kit. On the second link, the console is not equipped with a mouse ... I will probably buy the Cybord005 next week ... if it is working, I will conduct some tests. I’ll send it to you later. Write me your personal address in France. murgatroid_79
I apologize for the long absence. I have good news. The megadrive clone with the keyboard is already in my hands. Cybord 005 !!! I asked the seller to send screenshots, but he could not turn on the console. I took a chance and bought it. The failure turned out to be insignificant (the power supply is faulty), I connected another and everything worked. I will try to review the console here on the forum and on the Russian console forum emu-land.net
murgatroid_79
As you can see the cartridge contains in addition to ROM in sop44 package, an additional 8 pin chip. This small chip has copy protection!
+Yurkie
murgatroid_79 Does the unit you bought have Sega Mega Drive/Genesis controller ports? Have you tried PAL or NTSC Mega Drive/Genesis cartridges. Very cool that you have a working unit. Thanks for sharing.
murgatroid_79
From the TP8452AP chip in the mouse, we see that this is a ps / 2 mouse controller. Therefore, I connected a more modern ps / 2 optical mouse through a passive adapter.
CatPix
Does this mean that the port read both Megadrive and PS/2 signals? or is there a dedicaced mouse port? Or is there even Megadrive game pads ports?
murgatroid_79
Here is the passive adapter: And here are the joystick ports: The mouse only works when the system cartridge is included in the console. That is, the processing of the ps / 2 protocol is done programmatically. Connecting a joystick instead of a mouse does not work. However, if you connect the joystick to another port (which is signed by the Джойстик), then you can control the cursor.
CatPix
Interesting Funny that the program check for "FDD" and says "Flash OK" does that mean there is a Flash card or Flash memory to save data on the system (as opposed to on the cartridge? I'd be curious to see a FDD plugged on this machine ?
murgatroid_79
I already mentioned here "Magistr16 + fdd", and also "Magistr16 Bachelor". Both have a W29C020C flash chip on a 256kb board. But this is not only a flash drive, partly has a BIOS. The bachelor doesn’t have fdd, the keyboard is built-in, and the mouse is connected to the joystick port. The operating system on the cartridge, so to speak, is the same. One system cartridge can be inserted into both Magistr16 + fdd and Magistr16 Bachelor. And since the "magistr16" system and the "cybershell" system were developed by one company (BSComp), it is possible that some common things could "migrate" from the early system to the late one. There is no flash memory chip in Kybord005, but the RAM is expanded ... probably, part of the RAM is used as a drive and for this you need a battery. All this needs to be checked, which I’ll do. The good news is that another Cyber Shell console is coming to me ... and additional cartridges (oriented to learning English): So soon I will start writing without translate.google.
