Russ Wetmore (online) sighting

I clicked on an ad for a Senior Android Developer the other day (at Stack Overflow I believe). Turns out it was the company in Austin named Mutual Mobile. I clicked on management and guess who is their director of iOS development: none other than Russ Wetmore!

I wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to give Russ a SPECIAL thanks for both editions of Preppie. Always wanted to, somehow.

 

DID NOT know he was registered here (also thanks to this thread's poster).

 

To this day, I dearly remember Preppie's screen-play, as well as its sweet and mellow chip-tune sound, which (among others) is what made the Atari 8bit's so special.

 

Playing Preppie's tune, on our 1000watts home-theater via (HDMI+Altirra's) makes me (and my kids) chuckle, all the time, even after all these years.

Russ is one of my all time top programmers, his games were (and still are) my Atari favourites! Both Preppies, and Sea Dragon which is still uber-addictive after all these years (and atmospheric too!)
