cobracon #26 Posted August 23, 2011 the momentary switches with the springs are a mother **@@#!!! Yes, they are. And there are 3 different kinds. 2 varieties for the heavies, and 1 for the lights that I've run into. But the more I do them, the more comfortable and easy they are to reassemble. The switches are the one part of the video I wish were done at regular speed. But great video. I learned quite a bit.
AtariBrian #27 Posted August 24, 2011 on my light sixer i got the switches put back on if i remember correctly, then shoved the rest of the spring in with a flat head screwdriver. i used dielectric grease for the contacts. i only messed with the switches that seemed to have a bit of a problem... someone must of spilled a soda on it way back when. SlowCoder #28 Posted August 24, 2011 The switches appear to be a good and viable how-to video idea. When I have an opportunity, I will try to put together a video of each type I have, along with my reassembly strategy. This will be a little while until I can finish renovations in my work/play room.
