Cassidy Nolen #1 Posted August 9, 2011 BOTH SOLD, THANKS! I have a Sega CD Model II with a Genesis and all cables for sale. This unit is tested, works 100% and still has a formatted memory backup for game saves. The unit has been adult-owned since new and comes complete with two aftermarket controllers, both power supplies, three extension cables for the controllers (two are Sega brand), an RF converter which works great and a Sega Genesis system. One power adapter is a replacement, the other is a Sega brand one. Both work fine and I will label them so you know which goes where (although I think they are interchangeable). One rubber foot on the base is missing. The system will be the same price with or without the Genesis as they are pretty common to find. This setup was played for about 5 hours this week to ensure it completely works (and because I wanted to do some old-school CD gaming…rare for me). Asking 45 plus 15 for shipping (will refund if less). I'll throw in a boxed game for it too, let me know if you're interested and I'll send a list of what I have...nothing rare though. Sega 32X Adapter. This is a complete 32X system with the original bits and pieces. Included are the factory video cable (hard to find), the power supply, the cartridge slot adapter (the curved plastic plate to make it fit either Genesis system), the metal slot inserts (REALLY hard to find) and the 32X itself, completely tested and working. Once installed on your Genesis, you can play either Genesis carts, 32X CD’s, regular CD’s, 32X carts or even use your Master system adapter right through the top of it. I have used these in CDX’s as well, not a problem. Asking 35 plus 8 for shipping (will refund if less).

At least in the photo, you are missing the section of 32x cable that goes to the model 1 genesis. I think that's actually the 'rare' cable.
fmdof #3 Posted August 9, 2011 what he said ^^ but then again, with this set up here, it's not needed, but it's definitely missing.
+save2600 #4 Posted August 9, 2011 Darn, thought he had an unused Genesis I 32X cable amongst the goods
Cassidy Nolen #5 Posted August 9, 2011 I sit corrected then, sorry gents. I thought that was the only thing it needed. Apparently it is missing that piece then. This is the only way I have ever configured one, CDX or Genesis CD setup. Guess I never knew there was a difference on the others. Please forgive ignorance, not intending to misrepresent. Well, with that in mind, anybody need this setup as is? The CD system is Spoken For, waiting on payment. Thanks all, Cassidy
Uzumaki #6 Posted August 9, 2011 The 32X will still work for Genny 2 and I believe CDx because both used the mini DIN for video and audio out. Older Genny used full size DIN port and needs the rare adapter.
Rex Dart #7 Posted August 9, 2011 Is that cord really that rare? I never would've chopped mine up if I knew that.
