Sega Dude #1 Posted August 9, 2011 I got a copy of BurgerTime from a theft store awhile back. I have not been able to get it to work. When I pop it into the 2600 I get a black screen. Noting happens after that. I've tired cleaning it with alcohol but it didn't help. Is there anything else I can try? I really want to play this game. Jr. Pac #3 Posted August 9, 2011 You're tired of cleaning it? You should use Windex if you're so tired and it won't damage the contacts. If that dosen't work, it's probably a dead cart.
SlowCoder #4 Posted August 9, 2011 I got a copy of BurgerTime from a theft store awhile back. Stealing is bad... Beat me to it. Try the cart in a different console if you have one. You might also try a little steel will or sandpaper on the cart contacts if the alcohol hasn't worked.
Rex Dart #5 Posted August 9, 2011 You might also try a little steel will or sandpaper on the cart contacts if the alcohol hasn't worked. Steel will! Yes! DEMAND that the cart work! Accept no alternative outcome!

VectorGamer #9 Posted August 9, 2011 I just bought a Frogs And Flies back from the dead... I took the cart apart, took out the PCB and used light grit sandpaper dabbed with Radio Shack contact lubricant. Then I took a Q-tip to wipe that stuff off. I finished it off with a Q-tip and alcohol and brought it back to life.

Cynicaster #22 Posted August 10, 2011 MALAPROPISM (mal-uh-PROP-izm). noun 1 : the usually unintentionally humorous misuse or distortion of a word or phrase; especially: the use of a word sounding somewhat like the word intended but ludicrously wrong in the context. fiddlepaddle #23 Posted August 12, 2011 I like that! I think I'm going to also start calling (some of) them Theft Stores! For example: "That theft store has some steal will."
chupathingy #24 Posted August 12, 2011 (edited) I was going to say something witty and well-informed, but then I saw you brought it back to life. So, disregard this post. Edited August 12, 2011 by chupathingy

I use steal will when my car's battery terminals are corroded. Cleans them up real nice.
