Check out this Odyssey II Garage Sale Find

I went Garage Sale hunting with my fiance today. We stopped by one place where this guy had some Star Wars items (books, calendars, cards, etc) from the 70's. I asked him if he had any console stuff and he pulls this out of his basement.

 

 

Everything was boxed and in perfect condition. YES, that is a copy of Power Lords that you see there, in addition to a CIB copies of Quest for the Rings and Conquest of the World. Got the entire lot for $60. Not bad if you ask me.

That Power Lords is 3X the price you paid easy. If you ever want to sell, it looks nicer than the one I paid $160 for. Wouldn't mind the upgrade on my box.

I tried to sell loose Odyssey II games at my garage sale. Nobody wanted them. All of my game stuff that sold was a few original Game Boy consoles and games.

Thanks for the replies folks. I am pretty stoked about the purchase. Think I am going to keep the Turtles Bomber. I actually had the arcade version some time ago and never realized they made a port for the Odyssey II.

This is awesome. It reminds me of the late '80s when this stuff was relatively easy to find at garage sales. The price is great for Power Lords by itself. Turtles is pretty rare too. The CIB Conquest and Quest are awesome. Conquest is really fun although the subs have an advantage over any other unit.

Yeah, he did not have the stuff out for viewing and pulled it out after I asked if he had any old video game stuff. I always pose this question when I go to yard/garage sales. You never know what you might find if you ask.

I browse yard sales where I live all the time, but I've never thought to ask about that before, I'm going to have to start doing that, I wonder if I could find any hidden gems!!! Honestly I doubt it though . . .
