as_the_gavel_falls #1 Posted January 4, 2003 Hi, any one know what's become of hozervideo? I tried emailing Randy but no response in a month now. I have several requests for carts for him. If anyone knows a different way to get in contact with him please tell him Jason at AtariGuide.com is looking for him!

as_the_gavel_falls #3 Posted January 4, 2003 Thanks for the quick response. Still, if anyone knows how to get in touch, please tell him to drop me a line as I have several interesting deals for him which won't involve a lot of effort on his part... Snider-man #4 Posted January 4, 2003 Jason, You may as well just give up now. Randy has gone completely incommunicado and is out of the cart-makin', EPROM-burning biz for good. I believe I'm as close as anybody is to him (having sold items for him as a Hozer rep a few times in the past) and he made it crystal clear in a lengthy letter to me that he is done. And that was the last I heard from him. In other words, you are just putting a lot of effort into an impossibility. Ain't gonna happen, whatever you have brewin'. Might as well move on and find another source for whatever you're working on. Sorry. The only suggestion I have is that you might try writing him a letter to his old Hozer Video address. He may still pick up mail there: Hozer Video P.O. Box 1332 Pepperell, MA 01463 However, this may be a longshot, as he shut down his e-mail addresses and website. He may have also closed his PO Box too. Worth a shot. Sniderman

sku_u #6 Posted January 4, 2003 Is there a reason he closed up shop? There's a VERY lengthy thread about it: If you enjoy root canals without anaesthetics (?sp) and have ten hours to spare, you can read the entire story: http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.p...t=17502&start=

Albert #17 Posted January 5, 2003 Is there currently anyone else doing the same kind of thing as Hozer? We have an online store to which we are adding homebrew games and assorted hacks as quickly as we can. We are taking the time to produce nice labels and manuals for titles we add, so it's a bit more time consuming than just shoveling everything up there. Plus we need to make arrangements with various authors before we can even contemplate selling their games. I just added Andrew Davie's excellent Qb last night, for instance. We will also build carts-to-order depending on your request. For instance, we won't build you a Cubicolor, nor would we build any homebrews or hacks for which we haven't obtained permission to sell. We have the ability ot build carts of most 4K - 32K games, with some exceptions (such as games that have additional RAM, or use weird bankswitching methods). ..Al
