+cmart604 #1701 Posted May 27, 2013 I agree with Rev! What's up cmart? Are you not a proud card carrying member of the CV Brotherhood? Edit that SIG already and make known your "other" brotherhood... loud and proud! LOL! This is pretty much just what laziness looks like. Lemme see if I can get motivated today to do it. NIAD #1704 Posted May 28, 2013 What do I need to do to join these brotherhoods? Are branding irons involved? As far as the CV Brotherhood, it usually requires going above and beyond the call of duty to help secure and preserve a piece of Coleco history and or to aid making something available for all the masses to enjoy. If you are willing and able, let Retroillucid know your intentions and he will contact you when the need arises. As far as that other Brotherhood that came about as a knockoff to our own CV Brotherhood, I think they all just put the fact that they are part of it into their Sigs on their own. Anyone can do that! Those guys are a motley bunch, but I would be more concerned with this emerging threat of an RCA Studio II Brotherhood... especially with all the clones that system has. Ikrananka #1710 Posted May 28, 2013 It's from Steven Tucker, the guy behind the AtariMax CV carts (a.k.a. classics on AA). Steve built these a number of years ago for a few people that privately requested them. I have one. As to the question of value, well that is down to the perception of the buyer. He's helped me alot with my Atarimax, even though I bought it used from someone else. I thought someone was trying to pass off the 128-1 for something it wasn't, but if Steve is selling it, then it is quality!!

NIAD #1715 Posted May 29, 2013 This kind of listing make me sick! Especially when I miss out on them! Sealed Slurpy for Colecovision sold for $49.99 buy it now. I saw that completed listing on Saturday and it ruined the rest of the my day trying to figure out what I was doing that was so important on Friday evening that I missed this BIN. Damn it to high heaven!!!
NIAD #1716 Posted May 29, 2013 Steve sells it for a very low price, though. He doesn't sell this version anymore and with only a handful out there, I'd say the collectibility value kicks in a little as well, but nothing over the top expensive.
san-d-2000 #1717 Posted May 31, 2013 Well Boulderdash arrived today, not sure what to think of it for that price, anyway someone had to bite the bullit to find out

NIAD #1719 Posted May 31, 2013 Well Boulderdash arrived today, not sure what to think of it for that price, anyway someone had to bite the bullit to find out I had a number of email exchanges with Pete Mortimer of TeleGames UK and after some back and forth, he did confirm what the package consisted of. As you can see from san-d-2000's picture, the box isn't of the best quality and TeleGames UK is using PkK's cartridge shell and probably the socketed Cart PCB that PkK sells. The instruction manual looks like a copy of the original 1986 release's manual. For the price of $80 (Euro or Pound?), I am not overly impressed and am glad I didn't jump at Pete's offer to buy in bulk and then resell to people in the U.S. and Canada. Please don't take this the wrong way, I am very happy to see that TeleGames UK still is supporting the ColecoVision & ADAM, but for the price they are asking, the quality needs to be stepped up especially when compared to all the Homebrew Releases made by the likes of CollectorVision, Team PixelBoy and Opcode Games (both in quality and in price). Two thumbs up for the effort, TeleGames, but for the price... it's just not for me.

Its a re-release and not saying that up front trying to trick people into that is bullshit. If they where going to be up front and honest they would have shown the picture that Sand2000 did. Instead they just showed a stock picture trying to trick people, and thank you to Sand2000 for showing everyone the truth as I almost fell for it also. I hope Sand2000 files a complaint with paypal and gets his money back. That's over $130 Telegames wants for that!! Its not like there bringing a game that was never released before. They are lowering the value of the "original" and adding more confusion to collecting for the Colecovision! Its sad but Telegames has never been known for quality or anything that has been good for video games, and I guess they haven't changed. You have Opcode, Collectorvision and Pixelboy that brings respect to the Colecovision and to homebrews in general but on the other side you have Telegames still out there shitting on Colecovision for all these years. retroillucid #1722 Posted May 31, 2013 Something I wonder.... About 6-7 years ago, I sold Boulder Dash replica off ebay The box was like the CV MicroFun boxes I received an email from the copyright holder saying to stop selling replica of Boulder Dash or they would take actions against me Obviously, I stopped selling them So I wonder if Telegames got the rights to sell replica of Boulder Dash? otherwise, I could finally have my revenge. Kidding of course.
ColecoDan #1723 Posted May 31, 2013 I will be the first to predict that san-d-2000 sells his copy for 500 buck in 30 yrs as everyone marvels at the mini cart and wonders where it came from because nobody has seen it before. The story will go, I have old homebrews that are these mini carts but I have never seen a colecovision release as a mini cart. I wonder who made these. I look forward to the topic and laughing at people from the future.

scalpel #1725 Posted June 1, 2013 Hi, It's a great day for my collection. I met a collector today and he decided to sell me his entire Colecovision collection for a fair price. I don't know if it's a good place to post it but I wanted to share it with all of you. I have to do it in 2 posts, sorry for that. The second one with the games.
