Pioneer4x4 #1 Posted September 6, 2011 (edited) Went to a flea market on Sunday, and a guy had 3 2600s. One was a 4 switch in a "Game Center", and the bottom one was a Sears heavy. I asked in general, and he said. "I can sell the one with the cabinet for $5" I asked if I could switch it for the other one, and he said "Sure, why not". I haven't tested it, but it cleaned up REAL nice, only some wear on the silver painted trim around the switch panel. It was a tiawan heavy from 1980. And the game center deal has orange trimmed woodgrain stickers on 3 sides and is intact other than scrathes on the lid. The lid has a slope to the front ½ so it is not totally flat. I'll get pictures soon. Edited September 6, 2011 by Pioneer4x4
mtshark7 #2 Posted September 6, 2011 Be sure to add it to my Heavy 6-switch list when you get a chance. Thanks! Nice find!

Pioneer4x4 #5 Posted September 6, 2011 I'll post pics, maybe tonight. I bought a new car on Saturday, and that was its inaugural trip! Plus after dropping tens-o-thousands of $$, what was another $5 in the whole scheme of things! The only other thing I bought was a new copy of the original "Gone in 60 Seconds" from 1973 on DVD for $5!

SlowCoder #7 Posted September 6, 2011 Stellar deal there! I congratulate you. We've go one dude that sells old game systems at the flea market. He buys up all the estate sales and puts everything up for sale in a huge warehouse. It looks like he just shoves everything in with a bulldozer. There's a little area where he keeps the old game consoles. But like everything else, they're just tossed in a bin. Everything there looks like hell warmed over. Dirty and scratched to heck. Broken wires, no controllers. And he wants primo prices for them. $30-50 per console. And there is NO bargaining. He has a couple RCA studios in bad shape. I told him I'd give him $25 for both (my ignorant years) and he said he'd only take $60. I left. Went back a year later and they're still there. In the crap bin. Yeah I ran into a guy at the fleamarket on Saturday that wanted 50 bucks for a Vadar 2600 with 2 joysticks and two games, and the console had scene much better days. What kills me is he had games in great shape but wanted 3 bucks a title, and they were all commons Edited September 6, 2011 by disjaukifa
HatefulGravey #9 Posted September 6, 2011 I had to spend a bit more for my Sears H6er and then get the game center from another member a year later. Its a nice set though and looks very nice on the shelf. Good find man!
Benzman66 #10 Posted September 7, 2011 (edited) Went to a flea market on Sunday, and a guy had 3 2600s. Trader Jacks or Rossis? I know a guy at each place had a few available about two weeks ago. All looked in pretty decent shape. I told them both they were selling them too cheap. LOL! Edited September 7, 2011 by Benzman66

Don't worry dude, I did the same thing when I got my first sixer, I posted in the board that I got a heavy sixer because it was heavier than my 4 switch, but it was a light sixer actually. Yart #23 Posted September 7, 2011 (edited) How can you tell the difference between a Light and Heavy Sixer? EDIT: Aside from the obvious weight difference. I got a Sixer at the end of my bed but I've never felt both variations so I can't tell whether it's the heavier or lighter. On a heavy sixer they are round with no angles, on a light sixer they have angles and are not curved.
