I love these kinds of diagrams. I can't think of anything the Wii U looks like game-controller wise. Do those "Pro Darts/Pro Ball/Tronic 2" Atari tabletop things count?

This is really cool.

 

Only thing I can think of that Wii-U controller could possibly be somewhat connected to would be DC controller due to both having screens (even though DC VMU wasn't required) on controller, however they would be very loosely connected.
