Found in DeKalb, IL

Recommended Posts

So wandering around trying to find an old desk phone (rotary or push button - I'm wanting one to set up with an acoustic modem, but I digress), I found that this shop in DeKalb has quite a stack of 5200 carts CIB, three or four Intellivision carts for the voice module, a handful of 2600 carts CIB, lots of loose 2600 carts from Atari, Imagic, Mattel...and one copy of Pac-Man for the 8 bit Atari. Feh. But if anyone else wants to go in and score a haul, everything was marked $2 each.

I stopped by there today and picked up a few common carts. Got a CIB Tele-games Super Breakout, loose Yars Revenge, Pac-man (for 400/800) and some 7800 Pole Positions II's that I'm going to use as doners for my 7800 Donkey Kong hack.

The place had a large selection of loose games for all systems but I only looked at the Atari stuff. Condition of the loose carts varied widely. There were a lot with damaged or missing labels. The 5200 CIB's were mostly crushed/torn but a couple looked to be in ok condition. Don't remember which games they were. Same for the 2600 CIB's. They had Trick Shot, Super Challenge Football and Concentration. They were all $2, loose or CIB.
