Neo 64 #101 Posted January 28, 2017 I got one but the disc was scratched so it had no purpose so now it just sits in the attic.
Punisher5.0 #102 Posted January 29, 2017 What a strange product. The outside of the package says "SD Media Launcher", but the disc is labeled "Action Replay". There's a paper insert that says the disc contains both the SD Media Launcher and Action Replay software. The card reader says MAX on it, so it appears to just come from an Action Replay Max kit. There's also a micro SD card reader included, which is bizarre, as there is no micro SD adapter for the reader, nor is a micro SD card included. Finally, there's a sheet that says "Please retain your licence key", while at the same time saying "Licence key NOT required with this product". I haven't had a chance to actually try the disc yet to see what happens. I can't figure out how to attach photos to a post. I feel like an idiot. Just click on "Choose File" right under "Attach Files". Then pick the pic that you want to use. Then click on "Attach this File".

The quick reply thing doesn't have that option, I first had to go to "More Reply Options".

+KeeperofLindblum #106 Posted February 2, 2017 It's a pretty cheaply made device for sure. The alternate one I got from China is a better build. (I read around and found out that the Media Launcher used to be better quality but got crappier with newer batches.) It works great for the GBA homebrew or emulators but does basically nothing if you are wanting to play "backups". Only bummer is the China built one is ONLY good for playing backups because it just allows larger SD cards. The SD media launcher won't recognize the alternate SD memory card. It's still a good investment IMO but just a shame that you're paying $25-35 for a cheaply made thing that's outclassed by a $5 similar item from China. :I
