Help me identify my 2600

Recommended Posts

I have three 2600's and I do not know what kind they are. Here is the first one.

Is it a heavy sixer? Light sixer? What? What is it worth?

Photos of system 2 and 3 coming soon.

All three are light sixers, even the Telegames system. The heavy sixer was made in Sunnyvale California and because of how few were actually made in the US, those hold the most value. As for value, just pending on the market. I wouldn't trust eBay at all for value, people try selling 2600 for about 50 bucks and its just not worth that much.

I'd say each is worth 30 ~ 45, I'm thinking 45 for the Sear's Telegame system because how great a shape its in.

I think disjaukifa hit it pretty well. In case you're not clear, the 2 consoles with black switch bezel are Atari brand, the silver one is Sears brand. Also note the difference between the wood front panels. They are all the same internally.

The values given by disjaukifa are if they are a complete unit; console, 2 joysticks and power supply, all working. A few games would sweeten a sale.

Thanks for the info everyone.

I am not looking to sell. I was just confused about light sixers and heavy sixers.

The first one was from my childhood. Stores in my closet for 25 years.

The second one I picked up in a 'lot' sell. Came with 50 games for $75.

The third one I also picked up in a 'lot' sell. I only picked it up because it was a Sears version and I have never seen the Sears version. My mom worked at Sears growing up and many of my carts are Sears versions but not my system.

Thanks!

I think you made a pretty good deal on that console with 50 games for $75.
