angusjake
I came across the smallest joystick I have seen before today (for $3!) "The Powerstick". It is about 2 inches wide, and the stick is about 1 1/2 inches high. It is great for those who want to teach their small children how to play Atari. It was originally sold for the Amiga but works great on the 2600.

Jess Ragan
One of the best joysticks from that era, in my opinion. Small, light, easy to use, and most importantly, responsive, a quality which most old console controllers lacked. Of course, Amiga's GAMES weren't nearly as good, but they made up for it when they started designing their multimedia computers for Commodore a few years later.
