+atari2600land #1 Posted September 20, 2011 I wanted to hold back on starting a new topic in the homebrew forum until this game is somewhat playable. For those who don't follow my blog, I've been making a game called Ants! for the Odyssey2. Well, now I've got collision detection on the tan ant so now it's an actual game. An easy game, but a game nonetheless. So, here's the plans on what I'm going to do to make it more challenging: - Have the speed of the tan ant increase the more black ants you get. - Maybe put in a second tan ant? So, what is the game about? The goal is to get as many black ants as you can while avoiding the tan one. If you touch the tan ant, the game ends and you press fire to get back to the beginning. You can download the game at http://www.atari2600land.com/ants/ which is the official Ants! homepage. Comments/questions are very much appreciated. Here's a picture of the game in action. +atari2600land #2 Posted September 21, 2011 Version 12 is here! I made the tan ant speed up for every 20 black ants you get. I also changed it to use the left joystick and pressing fire at the end of a game starts a new one instead of going to the game select screen.
+atari2600land #3 Posted September 24, 2011 I made it so that the background color changes every ten ants. Link is now in my signature.

+atari2600land #7 Posted September 24, 2011 If you uploaded version 14 and up, you'll find that I changed the action button for the correct joystick restarts the game.
