Cebus Capucinis
I've decided that my board game hoarding habits need to come to an end. I started snapping up board games via multiple channels because I was making a humorous blog about all the bizarre, strange, and downright cool board games out there, but now I've started school full-time on top of working full-time, which means no-time for board games! Disappointed as this makes me, as I'm missing out on some really cool stuff out there, my storage has gotten so packed full of these things I'll just never get the time to realistically play all of them and give them the good run-through they deserve. So it's time to pass it along in the hopes of helping out my storage situation. Basically I'm narrowing down my collecting goals to the 3M, Avalon Hill, and other company bookshelf-style games. They're compact, easy to store, and all the games are fun -- I'll probably keep buying other stuff, but I'm severely narrowing down that scope as well. The games vary in condition and 95% of them are complete, with 1 or 2 being incomplete. Due to the sheer mass of games I'm listing, it's going to take some time to go through them again and ensure everything is there. However, I did this when I first purchased them and if anything IS missing from them, it's a minor part that is easily replaceable. Anything that wasn't complete or near-complete didn't get purchased. When you express interest, I will go through it and take pics via PM of the contents of said game to show you what's there. Honestly, the rule of thumb here is assume everything is complete; I'm meticulous about what I keep in my collection so aside from I think 1-2 of these games they should be 100%. I am willing to TRADE for any of these. If you are interested in trading, here's what I'm looking for: #1 the aformentioned 3M/Avalon Hill bookshelf games, #2 a 5200 system with games, #3 a C64 setup, and of course #4 digital money in the form of PayPal, LOL. I know this is not a board game site and I know these would move faster and do better via other channels such as BGG or eBay, but I figure a lot of members here are also interested in things like board games, so it can't hurt to list 'em here. For prices, I am looking for $10 ballpark plus shipping for each of these with the exception of Hotels and Fireball Island, which will have listed prices. I say "ballpark" because I know prices on these vary a lot and some of them definitely aren't in the $10 range, so I'm willing to entertain offers on just about anything. I do know what should go for $10 though, so expect me to be firm on a couple of these, but honestly most of them for the $5-$7 range or less won't hurt my feelings at all. A couple are honestly $1 material, and I will gladly let those go for that. I will ship them by packing them in bubble-wrap and wrapping them with kraft paper; this is the most inexpensive yet safe way to ship these games, and I've done it for years without any problems. The varying size of boxes makes it nigh-impossible to find boxes to put them in. Alright, I am currently taking pics of the boxes themselves for listing the titles, so bear with me for a while so I can get everything listed and we'll get started on this. First up: Fireball Island by Milton Bradley. Game is with good shape box, all pieces, only thing missing is the instructions, which you can print out on Hasbro's site. I am asking $160 plus shipping for it. Next: Hotels by Milton Bradley. Game is in fairly good shape box and is 100% complete. I am asking $65 plus shipping for it. Everything else from here on out falls under the "ballpark rule". Sealed Parcheesi by Selchow & Righter Hog Tied by Selchow & Righter Conspiracy by Milton Bradley Showdown Yahtzee by Milton Bradley Splat! by Milton Bradley Arch Rival by Parker Brothers Call It! by Ideal Games Classic Concentration by Pressman (I forget which edition, I think 8th or 7th) High Rollers by Parker Brothers Infection by Earwig Enterprises Dinosaurs Gotta Love Me 3-D Game by Milton Bradley I Dream of Jeannie Game by I can't remember what company Roller Coaster Tycoon Game by Parker Brothers Don't Bug Me by Hasbro CB Radio Game by Parker Brothers This Game is Bonkers! by Parker Brothers Domination by Milton Bradley DoubleTrack by Milton Bradley Kreskin's ESP by Milton Bradley Trust Me by Parker Brothers Grape Escape by Parker Brothers Masterpiece by Parker Brothers Gambler by Parker Brothers Bargain Hunter by Milton Bradley Electronic Mall Madness by Milton Bradley (Yes, the big-haired early 90s "looks like Blossom" version) Jurassic Park by I can't remember who right now Tetris Tower 3-D by Radica X-Men: Under Siege by Pressman/Marvel X-Men: Alert! by Pressman/Marvel Batman Returns 3-D Game by Parker Brothers Magma Monster by LEGO 1313 Dead End Drive by Parker Brothers Zathura: Adventure is Waiting by Fairview The Generals by Ideal Ramses Pyramid by LEGO Lava Dragon by LEGO G.I. Joe Commando Attack Game by Milton Bradley Marvel Super Heroes Game by Pressman/Marvel Six Million Dollar Man: Bionic Crisis by Parker Brothers Conflict by Parker Brothers (this game is the 1946 edition!) Attack! by Eagle Games Alright, that's it. This, of course, represents the more family game/bizarre-type stuff I've collected, so apologies for those of you thinking I was offloading my Euro stuff or my strategy stuff, I'll be keeping those. As I said, I know prices vary and marketplace shifts so I'm more than willing to entertain ANY OFFERS on these. Some of these games are hardly worth the shipping and price, so believe me, if you offer $1 I will probably take it for certain titles, though the bulk of them are worth the $5 range. As stated there are a couple in there that at $10 are actually really good bargains (though I won't state which games), and I do know which ones they are so if you offer $1 for 'em be prepared for a decline. My main motivation is to get this stuff out of my storage so I can start cleaning up all the other stuff I've got and have been working on. These are all cool games in themselves but they're not something I'm overly excited about when I look at, so I've kept all the stuff I really enjoy and am focusing my board game collection out of the bizarre realm and into the more "within my interests" realm. There really is some weird stuff in here, and this whole thing represents just 1 closet in my house and probably about 1 year's worth of collecting. Please PM me for additional information or pics, I'm more than happy to answer any questions. Thanks!

A_Locomotive
You have no idea how BADLY I want that Fireball Island. I wish I could afford to drop that kind of cash!
Cebus Capucinis
Just remember, aside from the top two, I'm open to 100% offers on them, and I know they're not worth a ton, so we're talkin' garage sale prices here. My main motivation is honestly just to get them out of my house, LOL.
A_Locomotive
You should include links to your blog reviewing them so we can get an idea of how they play.
Cebus Capucinis
Unfortunately the blog only got 3 reviews in before I got so swamped I couldn't continue with it. There's a few I haven't played, such as Call It!, but for the most part I've done 1 basic playthrough, and they're worth about the garage sale prices, I wouldn't go over $10 for any of them myself, hence the prices. Anything that was so awful I wouldn't even pay $2 for it ended up back at the thrift store.
the.golden.ax
I'd like an Advance to Boardwalk if you ever find one, but that isn't worth much. A Star Wars Monopoly, or Super Freakin' deluxe scrabble might be nice as well. AX
Mirage
Some of those are very neat. Hey, that CB Radio game... it looks like the same drawing style as in the early Atari catalogs. Wonder if it's the same artist.

Wonder if it's the same artist. Whoa, you're right! I never thought of that. The Gambler and Trust Me are sort of the same, too -- I just assumed it was a generic sort of late 70s type cartoonish style, but the CB one definitely looks much more like those Atari catalogs! boxpressed
These are great. Your method of shipping sounds just fine, but in case you didn't know, you can actually order a 25 pack of flat rate priority mail board game-sized (they're actually described that way) boxes to be delivered to you for free from usps.com. Even if you don't use them to ship, they'd be good for storage.
+save2600
I'll take Star Trek, Columbo and Alien Autopsy please Edited October 20, 2011 by save2600
FibroFreak78
I'll definately take ANYTHING videogame related if you ever come across it. (nintendo monopoly, zelda game, etc.)
Stan
Man, of course, Das Island. I've always regretted the day I sold that game awhile ago. Price is pretty tempting, but usually it goes for around that price with the instructions. Must think about this. Love that game.
Stan
OH shit, looking for AH games huh? Any ones in particular? I'd hate to see them go but I don't have anyone to play with me anyway really, those games are always too complicated to explain. I know offhand I have Third Reich, Luftwaffe, and I believe another that I can't recall at the moment.
Cebus Capucinis
Simon is sold as of yesterday. I'll respond to anything else ASAP, but for now, I'm taking the day off to spend time with the wife. PMs headed people's way starting tomorrow morning. Grig
I understand that. I used to have it but it got lost somewhere - so I'm trying to find it again without paying epay prices. Enjoy!
Cebus Capucinis
Yeah, that's a tough one to find for an actual value as opposed to overinflated ones. It's one of those "cool games' that has a neat looking board and colorful pieces, but when it comes down to it, just isn't that much fun to play at all. Pretty typical in my opinion for all the movie license type games -- they're all great to look at but when you get to actually playing there's just not as much of an idea behind them as the original style games. Personally unless it's a movie or show or the like I'm a REALLY huge fan of, I won't fork over more than $25-$30 for a licensed game like that. That's sort of the nice thing about board game collecting these days -- not very many people are interested in the non-Euro or family-type stuff anymore, so you can get them for bargain basement prices. Thrifts and swap meets are usually jam packed with all sorts of crazy strange stuff that deserves a play or two, which is exactly why I picked up all of these in the first place! Mirage
There was one I had as a kid that I just loved, but I can't think of the name of it for sure. It had all these haunted house props and monsters and stuff. I think it may have been called Haunted Mansion, but it wasn't the Disney one. I can't find any pics that I recognize on the web. With my luck, it was something uber rare and valuable. Hmmm, I should start collecting haunted-theme board games LOL I wouldn't mind having a real Simon (I have a Mr. Wizard) and a Merlin. Oh no, I don't need to start collecting yet MORE stuff!
the.golden.ax
I destroyed my brothers Krull when I was little... because I hated my brother. AX
HatefulGravey
Thinking about it... thinking about it..... I'm going to sleep on this one. I got out of board games when I stopped having time to play them, but some of these are tempting as hell. I'll let you know tomorrow afternoon. Cebus Capucinis
Let's get this back up to the top. I'm MUCH more willing to negotiate on prices now, get these out of my house.....seriously! I might have to yard sale them or Craigslist them shortly, and I don't needs me no skeevy creeps eyeballing my house.
